What a fantastic hotel! Staff were incredible and the facilities were great. Spa was perfect especially later in the evening as it was almost just the two of us with it all to ourself!
We ordered room service from Frederick's bar and it was delicious and super speedy.
The top tier moment was finding out they were dog friendly and being able to bring our four legged friend along!
Will definitely be staying here when we return.

The cost of the accomodation didn’t quite match the level of service we would expect. The location is grand and the facilities are really good, as is the breakfast.
However, the pool is limited to strange times for families such as during breakfast and dinner, when the middle of the day is would be more suitable.
Also someone chased after us when leaving the spa to return the towels, which two children were using, rather than allowing us to leave them in our room for housekeeping to collect.
The house keeping took two turns to send shampoo to our room, after a polite call, they sent shower gel instead.
In summary, great food and facilities, but it’s bit awkward with children to be there and the service in the spa and housekeeping is lacking.

Amazing hotel! 2-night business trip. Asked for a high floor and was put in room 516. Top floor in the corner! Very quiet. Room warm, and modernly decorated. Bathroom shower only, but large. Had a great nights sleep. Ample parking. Within walking distance to restaurants etc. highly recommend and will stay again if in the area for business in the future.

Very spacious room, comfy bed topper and cotten sheets
Very warm without any heating on slept with the window open but ok as on 4th floor
No access to swimming until 4 so no point going earlier - bit slow on check in as lots of groups complaining they couldn't use the facilities - maybe add access at 12 for additional fee subject to space ?
Breakfast was average - crusts of bread left but delicious poached eggs so worth the visit /coffee machine broken so missed my caffeine fix.
Parking was safe and first come first served luckily we arrived early.
Would stay again but not have breakfast

The Spa was lovely, beautiful building.
What was very strange was that there were no electric sockets around the bed whcih to me is a very basic requirement for phone charging etc..

The stay began badly when it became apparent that the booking information had not been correctly transferred by *******. Our breakfast and dinner included choice wasn't detected by reception staff so we had to explain at almost every meal that we'd chosen the half board option. The room condition was shabby, especially peeling paint in the shower cubicle; no TV remote which was delivered on request. Having been out on Saturday we returned to find the car park overfull with cars everywhere including yellow lines. This added to the insult of having to pay £30 for the privilege of parking; the parking controller was able to find a temporary space. Dinner was a disaster, not for the food which was excellent, but the intolerable noise level caused by the concurrent wedding music, background muzak throughout the hotel and a number of raucous guests. I asked a waiter to get the background music turned down but no change. It was an acoustic assault which spoilt the meal. Overall, the Majestic hotel did not live up to its name and it was a great disappointment for what should have been an enjoyable 50th wedding celebration.

Seriously overpriced. We paid £220 per night for 3 nights in a deluxe room. I am still looking for the deluxe. Bog standard would be a more accurate description of our room. Our view was the grimy roof of a large warehouse.

A beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing and so convenient. The rooms were cleaned daily and the cleaning staff were so friendly.
