"The whole experience was mediocre. Not 5 star as advertised. Breakfast always cold needed to be reminded to warm it for us. There was a braai on the 15th when we arrived which was supposed to start at 4pm didn't start until 8pm. Very noisy"

"I stayed at Residence Hotel for two nights during my business trip to Harare. I was impressed by the hotel’s location, service, and amenities. The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, close to many restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they arranged a taxi for me to the airport. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, a desk, a TV, and a mini-fridge. The bathroom was also clean and well-equipped, with hot water and toiletries. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The hotel also has a beautiful garden where you can relax and enjoy the view. I would definitely recommend Residence Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious hotel in the heart of Harare"

"Neat apartment and very clean inside and out. I love the colour schemes, the layout, the bed and bath linens. I love the location and the security of the place. The ladies at the reception are attentive as was the night guard. The bathroom is the tight part as is the reading area. I could use a lot more light and space in those areas. The pinhead shower must be a water conservation issue in Zim! I just don’t get it."

"Arnold and his team are simply extra ordinary. This guesthouse is a hidden gem that honestly speaking makes me look forward to all my trips to Zim. It has become a home away from home for me and even if the accommodation was way below par, which is certainly is not, I'd choose it because of their pork chops :-) All the staff here have become family. The beds are out of this world, pool area inviting and cleanliness top top notch. I would certainly classify myself as a fussy customer but my idiosyncrasies and lofty expectations are always met with the utmost humility and eager willingness to serve. Thank you to Hilltop, Arnold and the entire team. I've recommended Hilltop to over 30 friends and colleagues. None of whom have ever been disappointed."
