Great location
Huge size dormitory with private separate shower and toilet
Overall room was very clean
But black mold at shower booth
USB port at each bed were all broken
In convenient to charge
Providing clean bed sheet and big towers
Very good for a traveler
Restaurant was also huge
There were popcorn machine, table game, vending machines, atm, kids space
Very convenient

the room was clean and nice. although my room's window is somehow broken and can not be tilted, otherwise it's all very good. but because it doesn't have AC, so you have to sleep with window open. Beware it can be noisy.

Stayed here for Valentine's Day and had a really nice stay. Our private room had a really nice view over the rail tracks where you could look out and enjoy the trains going by. Only complaint is that it gets pretty loud early in the morning. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend this hostel/hotel to anyone visiting Hamburg. The location in particular is amazing, we were at most 25 minutes away from any of Hamburg's main sights. Will be staying A&O again in the future, for sure.

Location superb. A short bus ride or 10 mins walk to the main station. Check in slow. The front desk saw a line but acted that they were going to take their own pace anyway. Room wasn't very soundproofing. I stayed a single room and can hear neighbors talking. But no noise at night. In general a decent stay.

I stayed in a single room at a&o Hamburg Hauptbanhof for three nights, and I liked it overall. The hostel is around 8 minutes walk from the Central Train Station and just in front of a bus station. Overall, it's convenient.
