Pengalaman yang luar biasa! Hotel ini menawarkan layanan yang luar biasa bahkan sebelum kami tiba. Karena pengaturan perjalanan khusus, kami tiba terlambat dan staf dengan cepat menyiapkan makan malam bento di kamar untuk kami sebelum kami tiba. Saat kami tiba di sana, kami langsung terpesona oleh keindahan hotel tersebut. Meskipun sudah tua, semuanya sangat bersih dan terawat. Saya dapat melihat bahwa perawatan yang sangat baik telah dilakukan untuk merawat hotel dan tempatnya, yang luar biasa indah. Kami tidak dapat menahan diri untuk tidak mengambil gambar bahkan setelah check-out, dan butuh waktu satu jam untuk akhirnya meninggalkan tempat itu dengan enggan. Kata-kata tidak dapat menggambarkan tempat itu dengan benar, Anda harus mengunjunginya sendiri. It is a very nice hotel and breakfast is very good also the hotel have a nice Onsen.

Very nice hotel! Super super clean. Has a ski and snowboard rental shop right across the hotel (1 min walk) 10 min walk to the closest hill Breakfast was great. Buffet style. Both Japanese and western choices Private hotel onsen The pub restaurant is across the hotel. Great to relax after a day of snow activities Japanese restaurant inside the hotel. Not a lot of choices on the menu - just sukiyaki or shabu shabu set menu Transportation is great. Tons of buses - free or paid. If you go out for dinner, you can ask the hotel concierge to pick you up whenever you are for free Bathroom simple and clean - always have hot water Only con - the wifi signal is extremely weak. The signal will go on and off whenever it wants to 🫣 And Overall I will come stay again!

What we liked: - The decor in the reception area with its big fireplace feels very welcoming and cosy and reminded me a bit of a British hunting lodge. Very stylish. We loved it! - Very nice terrace with torch light in the evening. Great atmosphere. - We also liked the glamping area in the forest next door, with its pub. - The room was quite spacious and very clean. - Very friendly staff, providing excellent service! What we didn't like so much: - It's a shame that the only two dinner options available are either buffet-style at the restaurant or barbecue in the glamping area. It would be nice to be able to have a served meal on the restaurant terrace, but unfortunately only buffet dinner is available. - So we opted for the barbecue, which was great - except for the fact that between the salad and the barbecue, we were served cheese fondue. Apart from the fact that summer doesn't quite feel like the right season for a fondue, it was very filling, so that we - sadly - had to leave behind quite a bit of the excellent meat and vegetables, as our stomachs were already quite full. My suggestion to the hotel management would be to skip the fondue (and reduce the price accordingly). Or at least add it as an option for those who really want it. That said, the local beef was fantastic, and we also liked the presentation. - Breakfast was a bit of a let-down for me as a Westerner. Only the standard choices of bread you find in most Japanese hotels (tiny soft croissants, soft rolls and toast). It would be great if some Swiss/German-style rustic bread choices were available as an alternative for those who don't like a Japanese breakfast. Also, the coffee (served from one of those big containers) was very disappointing. For an establishment like this, I would have expected an espresso machine, offering guests different kinds of coffee (cappuccino, cafe au lait, espresso), which should be seen as the general standard nowadays. - We didn't quite understand why the glamping area as well as the bar were only open until 9pm - in the middle of the summer holiday season! With no other places within walking distance (as far as we were aware), that very much limited our options for after-dinner drinks. There was live piano entertainment in the bar area near the reception, but it stopped at 9pm sharp, just as we were coming back from dinner in the glamping area. Such a shame! - While the room was OK (spacious, functional and clean), there is one thing that annoyed us: The step to get into the bathroom. I almost stumbled on two occasions when getting out of the bathroom, because I didn't expect a step to be there. I think it could potentially be quite dangerous. If there were a light at the bottom of the step, that would at least make it a bit safer. Overall a very nice stay, even though it was (unfortunately) only for one night.

The staff are very nice, responsive and helpful. But gosh, the place is tired. The rooms are comfortable enough, but dark. There is nothing particularly compelling or memorable. The WiFi is almost non-existent. You have to go to the lounge to get a consistent signal and that’s loud. The restaurant is pretty vile in terms of dinner and breakfast but of course you’re stuck here, eating the same food every day. Luckily it’s expensive.

This is a beautiful place that offers lots of activities near the hotel. It's far from the city and next to nature. The staff is mostly friendly and the food spread for meals is good. The rooms are good too. The hotel used to host the athletes of the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics.

Travelled with a large ski party to this cosy hotel, with friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome throughout our stay. Thank you. Our room was clean and warm but small, with the smallest bathroom I have ever seen. Our beds, however were extremely comfortable and ensured a good nights sleep. There was always plenty of choice of food at breakfast and dinner. There is a pub on the same site across from the hotel along with the ski shop. Would happily stay here again.

Booked 5 nights last minute after we left the Pension 70 three doors down due to a terrible room. Michele at the front desk was incredible and understood our needs to get out and quickly accommodated us. We switched rooms twice due to lack of availability but we were pleasantly surprised when we stayed in the traditional style Japanese room. The service and staff were amazing and great with english speakers. The breakfast was a perfect way to start each day of skiing. The ski lockers were a great storage place for valuable ski gear and conveniently on your way to the bus stop outside. The shuttle reservation on the last day to get us back to the bus station was great! We can’t say enough good things about the Mominoki Hotel and staff as they saved our trip!

Just got back from an amazing stay at Mominoki Hotel. Travelled with my family plus other families. The location is perfect to drop kids off at Evergreen ski school which is a 2 minute walk away. Thank you to all the staff including Bobo, Riki and Luca who were always so helpful answering my 100 questions, booking my dinner reservations or taking me to the pharmacy. The hotel shuttle takes and picks you up to all your dinner reservations and extremely efficient. Hotel was clean and spacious, loved the open fire for drinks after skiing and the outside onsen was the best.

Excellent staff conversant in English. Was here to snowboard and found it convenient for that. Shuttles were on your doorstep or you could walk up to closest chairlift. Room was adequate and being on the top floor felt quiet. Not sure if rooms on lower floors would hear footprint above. It is not close to restaurants so when you are there late in the season (like I was in March), the eating options within walking distance have closed for the season. I found the need to seek out external food because I the hotel dinner buffet was very average. Speaking to other guests, they agreed. For the price, the food was quite average/bland. The enviro incentives to guests was welcomed. For each day you did not require housekeeping you were rewarded with coupons to redeem on yummy snacks. The super friendly and professional staff is why I would choose to come back here.
