First experience of ryokan, really enjoyed the private onsen in the room

Great place with great staff. It was actually bigger than I thought it was going to be. The pillows unfortunately were super hard and uncomfortable, but that’s only a small down side. Would recommend!

Such a tranquil and relaxing stay with hot spring! We love the simplicity, tranqility, and hospitality there. The room with private hot spring bath is really nice and suitable for family with small kids. And there’s a park with zip line just a few steps away from the hotel, which is excellent for kifmds!

Very close to the bus station. You can take any bus with the Hakone Free Pass. We checked our luggage to the hotel at Hakone Yumoto Station and asked the hotel to check it back to the station the next day. It cost 5,000 yen in total. It's a bit expensive, but you can travel without anything. I think it's OK. The room I booked is big. The breakfast and dinner are good. The service is very good. The only drawback is that the floor of the public hot spring shower area is too cold. My feet feel frozen in April.

During the time period (before 2200), you can drink unlimited soda, tea, coffee, beer, rice wine, etc. Breakfast is Japanese style, and unlimited drinks are available (before 0900) Service: Normal, no problem communicating in English Surrounding area: Near Sengoku Plateau, but it was spring and it was raining so I didn't go out to see it. Others: There is a forest outside the restaurant. It would be nice to have free food and drinks at the open-air seats. Unfortunately, it was raining when I checked in.

Public transportation is a little bit difficult in the mountains, but the buses are quite frequent. The hot springs are great. There is no bathroom in our room, so we were forced to go to the hot springs. Although it is a public hot spring, there are no other people, which is great! It would be nice to have an open-air pool! The room is big and the bed is very comfortable!

The hotel dinner is very rich, and there are few people when taking a bath at night. It is just that you have to take a bus for about 20 minutes after getting off at the Yugen Station, which is relatively inconvenient.

There are many ryokans in Hakone, so I had a hard time deciding which one to choose. The three criteria were reasonable price, not too many people (quiet), and delicious dinner! I chose the first floor with a semi-open-air bath, and I think it was a good choice. There is a public hot spring, but it is not very large. I had shabu-shabu for dinner, and the meat was delicious, and the strawberry ice cream for dessert was the best! The only downside is that the process of getting there was too difficult.

Small, exquisite and beautiful, everything is just right. The hotel is in a very quiet place, and it takes 4 or 5 minutes to get there by sightseeing bus if the navigation is correct. The next day, it rained heavily on the mountain, and then turned to snow. I had no choice but to take the two umbrellas provided by the hotel for customers to use, and finished the wonderful Hakone trip with the umbrellas. I am very grateful for the service and help provided by the hotel.

One night, two meals, good quality, clean environment, polite service

The room I was given was not very good, a little disappointing ~ maybe because I was staying alone. But the service was very good, the location was easy to find, I didn't bring too much luggage, it was quite convenient to take the bus. But the bus was really small! And many people were pushing suitcases, it was really inconvenient to get off the bus! I basically took a private bath at night! The beef for the dinner was too much ~ the price was reasonable! ! ! ! ! Very cost-effective
