Ulasan Toyoko Inn Hokkaido Hakodate Ekimae Asaichi

Hotel restaurant under renovation. Instead of buffet breakfast, had to queue to collect breakfast pack in a plastic bag (only rice and sandwiches, and all cold) and coffee next to check in counter. Since hotel had planned the renovation long ago, it should be honest and inform potential customers so that we can decide whether to stay here. We only found out about renovation when we reached the hotel at 3 pm. It was too late for us to change our itinerary or booking. From customer perspective, this is an issue of integrity and honesty. I will not stay in this hotel chain again and does not recommend to others since there are many good Japanese hotel brand available. This is also the only Japanese hotel brand that allows check in only at 4 pm (instead of 3 pm) and check out at 10 am (instead of 11 am). Potential customers should take note.

Hotel is located next to morning market and walking distant to Hakodate Station and Tram station. The famous hamburger chain is also right outside the hotel. There are lots of food choices around the area. also walking distant to places of interest. Just take note that there is another Toyoko Inn on the other side of the area which is a bit further from the station and morning market. Room is comparatively smaller. Big luggage may have problem in the room.

I personally feel this hotel is a good starting point especially if you love exploring by walking. From Hakodate Train Station, it is about a 5-10 min walk. Along the way, you'll find a number of food options (kaizen-don selection) at Hakodate Asaichi that is best for breakfast/lunch and also Lucky Pierrot (local restaurant burger chain with wide selection) across the street. There is also a Lawson's convenience store nearby. The hotel is within walking distance (＜5 min) from the Morning Market (where you can get all the preserved seafood for souvenirs) and also the must-try Uni Marumaki's (price range Y3500 and up for the recommended items). Further up, after about 20 minutes walking, is the Red Brick Warehouses (Lots of souvenir shopping and some of the more-branded food to try between meals - cakes, ice cream etc). The Hakodate Seafood Market is also around this area where fresh sashimi is available. I was surprised to find similarly priced oysters (Y900 for 2) here that's of better quality than at the Morning Market. I've concentrated so far on the plentiful food options nearby because the breakfast buffet had very, very limited options and limited seating (see last photo). The main option I could recall was a selection of onigiri with different flavours, some western-type food, and bread. I think it's fine because Hakodate is really a foodie's place so you should try eating outside the hotel (especially sashimi and kaizendon). The hotel itself is very clean and has all basic amenities that serve it's purpose.

Give a good welcome The place is easy to find, not far from JR train station and tram.

The hotel is in a good location. Very close to Hakodate JR station, just 5 minutes walk. As it’s under Tokuyo brand, overall cleanness and hygiene are up to standard. Breakfast is not bad though not many choices. Room is a standard of most hotels in Japan. Only drawback is that having to check out by 10 AM.

the room is clean with openable windows, shower is strong, the water cooking cup is funny that something I have never seen before, see pictures

位置極佳，隔壁就是函館朝市，中午之前可以吃活海產買水果。電車站，火車站都在走路5分鐘距離之內，自由行旅客移動方便。房間衞浴都很小，晚上睡覺的商務型旅店，價格便宜。

餐廳整修中，早餐只有麵包跟餐盒，可惜 如果有正常早餐吃，會更加完美 飯店的位置很好，很方便，樓下旁邊就有烙森便利商店，對面就有幸運小丑漢堡👍👍👍

東橫連鎖酒店～哪裡的東橫都一樣！免費早餐，價格300+ 位置都離車站很近，這家東橫就在函館車站出門右轉一兩百米很近，就在早市旁邊去哪裡都方便，不過這個位置看不見海。最漂亮的東橫還是富士山的😂

โรงแรมตั้งอยู่ใกล้กับสถานีรถไฟJR เดินประมาณ 200 ถึง 300 เมตร ออกจากสถานีเดินตรงมาผ่าน ตลาดเช้า โรงแรมอยู่ใกล้กับตลาดเช้าห่างกันประมาณ 50 เมตร ติดกับโรงแรมเป็น lawson โรงแรมให้บริการอาหารเช้า ถ้ามีคนไม่ได้ลงมากินเราสามารถตักไปให้เพื่อนได้ การบริการดีสะอาดรอบหน้าจะมาพักที่นี่อีก

酒店離JR函館站非常近，步行3分鐘左右，隔壁就是朝市，目前外立面正在維修，酒店服務也不錯，週二週三週四晚上7點到8點可以吃咖喱飯，味道不錯

受付のや駐車場での対応が良かったです。 朝食のメニューは値段的にしょうがないかな？とは思いますが、おかわりしたいようなものが無かったです。

住置一流，下樓就有刺身，小丑漢堡，烤串，拉麵，對面有油站，對面也有巴士站上函館山，不過我選擇行去總站上車。行過少少又可以坐市電。
