Ulasan Hotel＆Spa Century Marina Hakodate

The hotel and service is fine. However, my overall experience is disappointing. First, staff could not communicate in English. Then, in the first room I checked in, I found a chunk of hair on the ceiling in the shower room. So, I go down to the front desk to complain; the staff changes me to the new room. When I came back to the hotel at 20.30. They already ran out of their free drink offer. The staff told me that after 20.00, they offer Y500 off from their drink. Again, I feel disappointed since they should tell me during the check in. Breakfast is ordinary, nothing special

far from train station, but we are here for the amazing breakfast, and it's really worthy. However, we met the condition that late breakfast at 10:00 o'clock. But we didn't request about it. The request from customer should be confirmed carefully.

New hotel near JR Hakodate Station. Near the morning fish market. Tastefully done up rooms, though small but was well equipped. Staff at reception wasn't very helpful when I asked for an English map of the area. Breakfast was excellent, lots of options and good quality too. Would stay again.

The breakfast was great. The sauna is not really big. The bathroom is quite tiny

The breakfast here was, by far, the best and most varied in all of Japan that I’ve had. Obviously crowded, I would say the fact that so many local tourists go there for the spa and the breakfast buffet speaks volumes of the quality of either. If you’re looking to do hot bath, this hotel probably affords the widest variety of types of baths (hot, cold, sulfuric) available. I even saw a famous Japanese rock star go here to do his spa treatment. For its price, the room was sufficient (not very spacious but clean and comfortable), and you’re really going for the above two points.

Love the hot springs, breakfast buffet spread is very good. Staffs are very helpful.

The hotel is quite new and very close to the harbour. It is only 2 mins walk from the morning fish market. The Onsen is very nice. It has 2 levels. The 14th floor is indoors and the 15th floor Onsen is outdoors. Very nice view from the Onsen. The morning breakfast is fantastic! They have ikura and salmon & tuna & ika sashimi.

Great onsen and breakfast! Staff are friendly. Easy walk from Hakodate station.

The location is good. But it is still 10 minutes walk from the station. Also, it has some distance from the streetcar or bus station (5-6 minutes walk). For me, it is perfectly fine. But my wife complains about it. The breakfast is amazing. Please do choose to have breakfast in hotel at least once. You won’t regret it. I had ikura and salmon sashimi for breakfast. Never imagined that before. The hotel’s shop is great. It has great selections of local food, snacks and fashions. We stayed two days and got 2000 yens (13 dollars) coupon that can be used in the shop. You can also choose to borrow special pillows and aroma oils behind the shop (for free). The Onsen on the top of the hotel is fantastic. It has great atmosphere with great views. It also has a sky lounge and food stand right at the entrance. Highly recommend!
