Ulasan Haikou Wander Hostel Qilou Old Street YHA Homestay

Dulu. Bagus dan mewah kemudian kamar tempat tidur bertingkat yang saya tempati kecil, acnya bagus cerita horor ketika saya kembali jam 4 pagi saya menemukan keparat di tempat tidur saya dia menyuruh saya pergi ke tempat tidur berikutnya saya pergi ke sana dan saya berusia 99 tahun % yakin ibu keparat kesal, ini adalah omong kosong ******* yang Anda dapatkan ketika Anda harus murah dengan hostal

Great location (though 30 mins from the airport). The staff were helpful and upgraded our room. The hostel is in the middle of town and around the back is the bus stop for the #3 on/off tourist bus which takes you to the beach and harbour areas. A 2 hour round trip, so a nice cheap way … 5CNY (have the correct cash) to see the area. Lots of food options in the area, but make sure you eat up at lunch time as most places were not open at dinner time.

Room not so clean. Air conds in the room took ages to cool the room, probably air conds need servicing. Very basic amenities. Convenient if guest wanna stroll on Qilou old street and dine in some old coffee shop & hainanese foods. Coconut chicken steamboat was good, not far from hostel.

This place is a great hidden gem. The owner/ manager and team are resourceful and easy. I stayed 4 nights in total in Haikou and really recommended this place. Some nights there were band playing downstairs... but it's Haikou, everyone sleep very late. Last thing, GREAT COFFEE! Thanks for making my stay easy.

The hotel is a little bit expensive for what you get. There is no aircon in the corridor and the rooms are extremely hot in summer. However, the aircon works well in the room and there is an intelligent toilet that reads books and tells you the recent news. Could be noisy depending on the room location. The staff is a bit lazy but friendly. Many people stay a long time in the hostel because they have troubles in life and hard childhood.

Staying in the 4-bed room (female). The bed was clean and everything is pretty straightforward. I am not a fan of the public squat toilet but it's clean enough better than the public toilet and no toilet paper was provided so you need to bring it yourself. I moved to private room because the location of this hostel is great and easy to go around.

Located in a nice old street. With street food all around. Hello bikes can be rented just next to the hotel to make a bike tour along the beach. Huge coffee in the morning.

The place is at the great location of Haikou, on the old street. You can find anything you want there. It is close to the electric bicycles if you want to cycle somewhere. The place is also accessible by car. The rooms were clean, the toilets either. There were shower appliances too. There is a coffee shop downstairs with multiple seats and electric plugs if you need to work. In the evening, the bar is opened with live music. The only downside was maybe the tenants who liked to listen to the Tiktok music or watch videos loud. But, compared to other places I went in China, it was a very minor issue. Recommend to everyone!

Nice place in a great street, but not the most social place. Good for a cheap couple of nights.

Friendly and helpful staff

After endless hours calling different types of hotels I got accepted here. Most hotels couldn’t accept any foreigners due to the whole new covid rage that’s taking place in hainan. The best part about this hotel is the early check-in time that starts at midnight to 6am. The had everything. The only downfall was wifi in my room had to be paid for and there wasn’t toothpaste. Apart from that I had a good clean room. It’s also quiet pricey but for the location (inside the historical old town) I can understand. I was too tired to go down for breakfast. I specifically loved the clean bathroom.

We always sleep here when we’re in Haikou. Good price for a clean room and comfy bed. The breakfast is nothing special, but it’s a free bite in the morning and the coffee is good. Perfect location to explore the old town!

Lovely hostel in the heart of the old street in Haikou. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfy.

This is one of the best hostels i have ever stayed in . The cozy reception where you can chill with a beer or coffee while reading a book . The location is the best around HaiKou . The hostel staff are super nice , young spirited and are always willing to do anything to support . The rooms are very clean with great showers . I don't think 5 stars is even enough for such great priced stay . Will Always come back for it if I'm in HaiKou !
