Ulasan Hilton Haikou Meilan

The location is great, right by the sea. Nevertheless, the hotel desperately needs a complete renovation: the room was worn off, smelled like cigarettes and wetness, there was some mold on the walls. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. The staff were really nice and helpful!

Huge from the inside and the outside , the sea view is top room clean not that new , breakfast is not too good , can’t use the beach but the swimming pools is nice , small gym but clean , but in general I had great time there ,

I stayed during the Spring Festival Holiday. The buffet dinner was the worst quality food I’ve had in China. The meat was clearly reheated from the previous day in the microwave so was exceptionally chewy and dry (completely devoid of moisture) and the rest of the hot buffet food was ice cold. The hotpot was edible. For 265 yuan per person I expected a bit better. In their defence, when I told them about the dry meat they offered me a fresh plate from their kitchen however it was lacking in taste. I shouldn’t have to ask for them to bring fresh meat at a so called 5*. After this experience we ate outside for the remainder of the stay. The cleaning team were kind and meticulous. The front of house staff were good and offered good service. The property is beachfront. Some of the pools are closed including the heated pools. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are a foodie. There are fantastic restaurants outside the hotel in Haikou.

This hotel was great! The staff were friendly and very helpful. During check-in I had the pleasure to meet Anna who spoke excellent English and helped with any questions I had. I will definitely book this hotel on my next visit to Haikou!

Due to the typhoon the beach area was a little destroyed, but other than that everything was good.

On the positive side: The hotel itself is quite great, playground and pools were appealing, several good activities for kids, restaurant and breakfast were also very good and staff very friendly (especially in restaurant) In the negative side: the location is not good, at least 8-10km from everything. No any restaurant or activities nearby, need to take a taxi for everything with at least 40min to 1h drive. One of the restaurant (noodle one) closed quite early so dinner in hotel was limited to 2 restaurants. In addition, because of weather (wind and a bit cold) beach was not suitable for us to stay and pools were closed. Good hotel for company events or short family stay (max 2 days) but not for prolonged family vacation (week)

Big room big hotel, location not good of for business

The hotel feels a little old and deteriorated, specially public areas. The room was fine. All the rooms have balcony that offers nice views

A great hotel for family with children, nice location and close to the beach. Clean and big room, swimming pool is cold and gym needs better ventilation.

We’ve traveled to Haikou because it was my friends bday, the hotel staff were very nice, everything was beautiful and specially the front desk were very nice, we’ve asked for a shuttle service to the airport and there were no available at the time we needed but we’ve got a late checkout instead, which was wonderful. They’ve also sent a piece of cheesecake with a candle to our room for my friend’s bday. The only bad part was that the swimming pools were filled with leaves, I guess it was a bit cold for people to get in the pool, but we did, so those leaves were very uncomfortable.
