TTamuNot a 5 star resort. That's not saying it's not a nice resort, because it is, but 5 star resorts have top notch service. First ding, they don't pick you up at the airport, but you can have them set up transportation for you (at your added expense). The Taxi is $75 each way (I checked Uber and it was $55 and the taxi dude matched that price). We were able to catch a travel van on the way there from the airport for $17 a person. We had an ”executive suite” which was nice, not their best room but probably in the middle. They never changed the bed sheets in the entire 5 day/4 night stay. They made the bed, but never changed the sheets. They have a well stocked fridge and other goodies for a steep price. The problem is moving their crap out if you actually want to use the refrigerator. We were charged ”additional taxes” when we checked out as well. Only like $2-3 a day, but these should have been included in the price. The on-site sushi restaurant was not a good value. They charged us for items we didn't order and watch out for the $4.50 water. Our bill was $200 plus tip for two adults. Each had two margaritas, one appetizer (we had cancled after we told the waiter and he acknowledged, but came anyways) and two entrees. Portions were small, so definitely no ”leftovers”. The good. The included breakfast is excellent. Take advantage of that, eat a late breakfast (breakfast is over at noon, so be there no later than 11am) and that should tide you over until dinner. The location is great. Close to the marina/downtown but just far enough way that it's an easy walk and you stay out of that busyness. Overall, it's a nice 4 star (at best) resort.

RR0nald0Dans l'ensemble, mon expérience a été positive. La chambre était spacieuse et propre. Le petit déjeuner, bien qu'il ne propose pas une grande variété, était simple mais savoureux, parfait pour bien commencer la journée.
Le service à la clientèle était excellent, l'équipe était attentive, sympathique et toujours disponible pour répondre à mes besoins, ce qui a vraiment ajouté à la qualité de mon séjour. En plus, la vue depuis le toit était tout simplement magnifique, un endroit idéal pour se détendre et profiter du paysage.
L'ascenseur est également un atout, surtout après une longue journée de marche. C'est vraiment pratique de pouvoir accéder à sa chambre facilement quand on est fatigué. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est également parfait, il est situé près de tout, ce qui permet de découvrir rapidement les attractions locales sans avoir à trop se déplacer.
Cependant, il y a quelques inconvénients à mentionner. Les prises électriques ne fonctionnaient pas toujours correctement, ce qui a été un peu frustrant, et l'insonorisation dans les chambres laisse à désirer. J'ai pu entendre facilement les bruits provenant des chambres voisines, ce qui a légèrement affecté mon confort.
Dans l'ensemble, si vous cherchez un endroit bien situé et avec un service impeccable à Los Cabos, l'hôtel Colmena Marina est une bonne option !

TTamuThis place is my go to because the owners/investors are present and on top of things and want the place to have a high end esthetic and energy, like with the menu and live music. I get the impression there are always enough people to staff the place efficiently and the beach club has been a huge benefit. The only thing I’ve noticed is the workers love to pass the buck or ignore thats you're waiting. For service. there is no way for the managers know unless they really listen to how the interactions are going. I hope they do this sooner than later. It’s seems amusing to the staffers but is painful as a patron to have to negotiate every time you have a need. Some of the employees are great though. They just do all the work for the people that pass the buck

KKaren Elizabeth BiowI have stayed at this hotel perhaps six or seven times. I like the location it is close to the city (2 blocks ) it is close to the beach (2.5) blocks. Close to some tasty restaurants. Very big pool and free laundry. Free breakfast was tasty!! Also free use of washer and dryer. Hotel restaurant is also tasty. Dont forget to ask for your free maragraita coupon per person upon check in, I will return to this hotel happily!
