Surprise and very surprised! I saw that this B&B had good reviews on Ctrip, so I made a temporary reservation for one night with the intention of giving it a try. First, the hotel sent a nanny car to pick us up at Yangshuo Pier. The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and upgraded the room without our knowledge. The design of the B&B is good, the room facilities are also very good, very clean, and there is a small balcony. It's really surprising that you can feel the beautiful scenery of Yangshuo while lying on the bed. It's not far from West Street and Shili Gallery. The price is so good during the tourist season, which is much better than staying in a chain store.

Zen Garden was our most remote hotel during our China tour. The location is undeniably beautiful, offering stunning views of the hills and mountains. However, despite receiving an upgrade after the first night, we found the price-quality ratio unsatisfactory. We paid the same amount for our stay in a five-star hotel the following day in Nanjing, which provided a significantly better room and breakfast. Since its opening in 2017, the hotel appears to have undergone little to no maintenance. There is noticeable wear and tear on the building, and the toilet emitted a strong sewage odor, which was quite unpleasant. Communication was a challenge as Cindy was the only staff member who spoke English properly. When she wasn't available, it was difficult to communicate in person. Fortunately, the WeChat communication was an excellent alternative and made things easier. On a positive note, the afternoon tea and dinner were quite good, offering healthy and fresh options. Breakfast was very limited and none Western options except an egg and white toast with butter. The complimentary zen shoot was a nice touch, although it was apparent that it was the photographer's first time conducting such a shoot. We were particularly disappointed with the spa. The treatments were much different than expected, lacking the luxury and expertise typically associated with such high prices. Additionally, the cost for two people was almost the same as the room rate, which we found unreasonable. Overall, while Zen Garden's location and some amenities were enjoyable, the lack of maintenance, high prices, and communication difficulties detracted from our experience. With all the new buildings in the same area, there are better options.

Like the location as it is smacked in West street. Views are awesome. Down side is that West Street is crowded and could be a little noisy as you can hear the music from the bars in the area but if you close the door and windows it can block out most of the noise. Also, a little difficult to walk on the cobbled street with luggages as car cannot enter West street so you will have to walk for a bit. Hotel provide free drinks/coffee/tea at the lobby. Plus point: my room have a bird view of the entire West street with the mountains as a back drop. They also have a nice rooftop for photography with pool.

The last stay was very good. I specially asked a friend who had booked a homestay before to ask for the name of this homestay. This is the second time I have lived here! Then the store upgraded the room, there is a large balcony, a bathtub, really good! There are also disposable toilet pads and bathtub covers, which are very safe to use. Sitting in the room, you can see the mountain view, and it is very quiet around sleeping at night. There are many small restaurants and dessert shops on this street where the hotel is located, which is very convenient.

真的是很不錯的一家酒店，環境好。真心覺得性價比超高的。周邊十里畫廊，西街，大榕樹。汽車十幾分鍾就可以到達打卡點。房間整潔，乾淨衞生。出差旅行首選。最主要酒店還有免費的自助洗衣房，洗衣烘乾一體的，真的對於我這種懶人，非常方便。還有免費的停車場，停車方便距離酒店也不遠，停車位也很多。真心感受這家又實惠又乾淨。下次還會來。值得住！

I highly praise the sanitation of this B&B hotel. The surrounding environment is very quiet. The breakfast tastes really good. Guilin rice noodles are really delicious. The appearance is enough. The housekeeper will reply immediately if you have any questions. , If you are traveling with a family, it is really suitable to come to this hotel. The air is really good, and there is swimming at night, and the children have a great time. I stayed for 2 nights and found something was missing when I went to the terraced fields Immediately send a message to the housekeeper 😭 The speed of reply is really heart-warming, thank you... I will still choose your homestay next time💗

This was our favorite hotel during our travels across many cities in China! We wish we could have stayed longer. It's located in the scenic 10-Mile Gallery of Yangshuo surrounded by mountains and next to the peaceful Yulong river. Rooms had amazing views and were clean and comfortable. Service from all the staff was excellent especially Xiao Long who helped us arrange several outings and tours. The on site food is great and there is free laundry unit. The children had so much fun watching the fishing birds, feeding small animals, and many different activities (archery, playground, soccer, etc.). We will definitely return to this paradise!
