We stayed at Novotel Dalian Zhongshan as a family, and chose it largely because it’s a newly opened hotel (2025). While the location felt slightly less central than we expected, it was hardly a drawback—taxi fares are very affordable, making it easy to get around. Having a convenience store on the first floor was also a real advantage, especially for families. The room itself was immaculately clean, exceptionally spacious, and paired with a beautiful view, it made for a very comfortable stay. We were also genuinely pleased with the fruit and beverage service, which felt thoughtful and welcoming. One more highlight: the delivery robot was fascinating—no matter how many times we saw it, it still felt surprisingly cool and memorable! Overall, a modern, well-maintained hotel that we’d happily recommend to families seeking comfort and a touch of something new.

This is an instagrammable hotel that offers quality service. From checking in to checking out you will be assisted by the staff. There is an open beach a few steps away with 2-3 cafe shops. One of them is Caan. The buffet breakfast offers delicious western and Chinese breakfast. The rooms are nicely designed with a balcony overlooking the beach. Snacks and drinks are also offered for free including a welcome fruit plate. Toiletries are of quality and smells really good. Japanese toilet is another plus! The bed and pillows are all comfortable. They also offer activities like boat and paddle board riding. If u need help with anything including attractions to see, they have a wechat account and they respond quick. I highly recommend this place if you want a more quiet place to stay. And of course the private beach front setup is so relaxing and offers a great view both day and night!

Kunjungan yang sedikit mengecewakan, karena kamarnya sangat panas dan tidak ada AC dingin, hal ini diperparah dengan cermin besar berpemanas yang tidak dapat Anda matikan. Kulkasnya juga tidak berfungsi karena Anda harus memberi tahu mereka terlebih dahulu jika Anda ingin kulkasnya berfungsi.... Aneh. Stafnya baik dan menawarkan permintaan maaf, mereka juga menawarkan layanan kamar gratis (walaupun panas sekali, saya tidak ingin tinggal di sana) dan peningkatan, tetapi tidak ada kamar yang memiliki AC dingin yang berfungsi. Meskipun saya menghargai sikap baik dan meminta maaf mereka. Terutama Roger Wang, kepala petugas. Dia sangat profesional dan menawarkan bantuan untuk masalah lebih lanjut.
