Hotel di Guangzhou Railway Station and Yuexiu Park Area, Guangzhou

The front desk service is very good and efficient, despite a lot of commotions at guest checking in and out. The hotel has some age. Small rooms. Still ok to stay. Musky smell in the aircondition, but it doesnt bother me much as i open the windows and outside temperature is 15-18 deg on most days.

Metro station n One good HALAL eatery next to the hotel. Wet market n night market, good 24hr dim sum ( ask receptionist for the old establishment- opp the hotel lane)

Very nice hotel and very professional and kind staff, being at the front desk, the restaurant and the cleaning services. The breakfast offered a great variety of Chinese and Western food. The location was fine, although I thought I could walk to many more attractions; closer to the downtown area may be a better choice for tourists. There is a laundry room, but only two washing machines and one dryer. It was a little annoying because the machines were always busy, so I had to do my laundry at midnight when one machine was finally available. My main concern is the lack of English speaking staff. Checking in was not easy because I was looking for the Qiuguo Hotel. However, the sign says ”True Go Hotel” -- be aware. I asked the staff at the front desk whether it was the same place and if they had my name, but communication was very difficult, even if we were using a translation app. I had the same issue when asking someone to help me use the washing machine and when I needed the young man to call a taxi to the airport for me. When looking for a hotel in China, I make sure to read the description of the hotel, where I would see if they provide services in English. While this hotel mentions English, they do not speak English, unfortunately.

The location is very good, very close to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. The room was upgraded when I went there. It is very clean and tidy, and the facilities are also new. Breakfast is delivered to the door by a small robot, which is very convenient. There is a Family Mart downstairs, and it is convenient for travel. Metro Line 2 is only five or six minutes away. Overall, the cost performance is quite high

The hotel is located next to Guangzhou Train Station, but I personally didn't find the location ideal. There are no stores nearby for late-night snacks, only a shop selling local food that didn’t seem very hygienic. Traveling in China with Didi is very convenient, so unless you prefer taking the metro or staying close to Guangzhou Station, the location wasn't great for me. The cleanliness of the hotel was just okay. During my 5+ day stay, they mainly replenished supplies and made the bed. The table and sofa had food crumbs from previous guests, the bedsheets were dusty, and the sofa was dirty. The breakfast was disappointing as well. The only thing I liked was the washing machine and dryer provided for guests.

Great hotel. Great amenities. Very convenient and close to markets. Transport is efficient and easily accessible. The hotel is also very close to Guangzhou Railway Station, literally a walk away. Surrounded by lots of shops and markets and food places too. The breakfast buffet was delicious and affordable too. Staff is very friendly and always willing to help. Check out time is 2pm which amazing if you’re there for business and want to do some last minute running around before you leave. They also offer luggage storage where you can keep your belongings after you have checked out. Great hotel. Would highly recommend.

The staff service is really amazing! The cleaning lady is very considerate. She delivers whatever you need very quickly. Even toiletries are delivered in seconds in the middle of the night. Even takeaway food is delivered to the floor by robots. The restaurant's kitchen lady is very enthusiastic and there are many choices of dishes. The WiFi is so fast that the movies I want to watch on the road can be downloaded in just a few minutes. What surprised me most was the soundproofing effect - when taking the children out, I was afraid of disturbing others, but here there is no need to worry at all, it is very quiet at night and I slept very soundly. When checking out, they also gave us souvenirs and mineral water. These little details are so heartwarming! From now on, I will choose Atour when I go out!
