Really lovely place to stay in a gorgeous area of traditional 1900s Cantonese Guangzhou. Great bars and cafes nearby. Hosts provided me with a western style vegetarian breakfast and a little bit earlier than they normally do which I was very grateful for as I was staying for a work conference in the area.

Staying here was like staying in an minimalist monochrome art space with a window view of nice laneway. They are rooms above a cafe so there is no proper front desk or room service/cleaning. The staff are very helpful but there is only one of them at a time. One thing to know is that there is no elevator.

民俗在一座很漂亮的老建築裏面，一樓是咖啡廳，我訂的房間在三樓，管家服務很好，在羣裏提出要求也會有及時響應，早餐也很不錯，住客在咖啡廳點單也有折扣。房間裏面的裝修設計很好看，小露台是可以站出去的，三晚體驗不錯，雖然老樓隔音不是很強，但附近晚上庭安靜的。

想不到廣州有這麼一個有格調的地方，他們家一樓咖啡廳，淡淡的奶油風，環境寬敞。二三樓是民宿，有專屬的通往客房的樓梯，住的是叫廊的客房，入住的午後陽光温暖整個房間，超温馨。雖然白天是人來人往的街區，但是晚上特別舒適寧靜。比心。

Created with care by Thera's design team, the unique historical charm of the red brick exterior combined with an exclusive design concept, meticulous geometric shapes and deliberate landscaping creates a seamless fusion of old and new, inside and out.

The interior is divided into public spaces, rooftop terraces and themed rooms. Immersive real-life visual effects cover a variety of styles including French romance, Italian modern, extreme minimalist future, exotic Egyptian, Chinese Zen, gorgeous bathtubs and more, allowing you to have a cozy and relaxing holiday without leaving the building.

When you check in at Thera, you can feel the thoughtful butler-style service.
