Ulasan Hotel Eigerblick

The hotel was located in the middle of the hill, just like many of the hotels in Grindelwald. There was free bus in the area so it was easy getting up and down. Yet, the bus service stops at around 6 or 7pm, and you will have to walk up the hill from the train station for about 20 minutes. Also, potentially because it was in the middle of the mountain or it was winter, it felt very dry in the middle of the night. It would be nice if there can be a humidifier in the room. However, the view of the room is absolutely worth it. You can look at mountains like Eigerblick just from your room and the breakfast buffet, and it is extremely breathtaking. The breakfast buffet included was decent, with fruits, bread, cereal, some hot food and drinks. In particular the eggs were very nicely done. The bathroom looks a bit old-fashioned and narrow, with slightly insufficient lighting, but overall it was clean and good. The service was generally good. We were greeted with great smiles and friendliness by the reception and staff at the breakfast buffet. Overall it was an amazing stay and I would recommend it:)

The hotel staffs are nice and the services are great! They provided a free city transportation pass and also upgraded our room to the mountain view!

A little bit outside of the village but the views don't get better than that. The Panorama is amazing. Amenities are basic but clean, staff is nice. Good coffee and tea at breakfast. I would say that the view just makes the stay incredible as the Eiger north face is literally on top of you.

Good solid product for a relatively modest price. Rooms are functional and clean. The last major building overhaul dates back a while and the revival of the bar would be a good idea. Friendly service, good breakfast in reasonable proximity to the centre of Grindelwald. Bus stop around the corner.

Basic but clean hotel on the heights of Grindelwald (the center is a 12-minute walk or a 5-minute bus ride that stops next to the hotel). The hotel lacks maintenance and could do with a renovation, but it's ok. The view from the breakfast room (which is very good) is fantastic. The staff is ok, but not very friendly.

We booked late and the number of rooms available was very limited on a weekend in high season. We were happy to get a room and everything worked out perfectly as agreed (extra bed in the room, parking space reserved). So we can't complain, especially because the cleanliness was very good, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large. Everything worked out perfectly as agreed. The furnishings were a bit dated. We were really disappointed by the view of a high wall and a rusty wheelbarrow right in front of the room for a rather high price, especially because we had expected a view of the Eiger or at least the next house. The atmosphere was also more like a city hotel in London than a mountain hotel in Grindelwald.
