Acacia Motel ★★

📍 44 Jondaryan Ave, Griffith

"I cannot believe how this motel has gone downhill. Booked weeks ago to get adjoining rooms but our room hadn't been serviced so had to have another room. Our grandson was very upset because no adjoining door. Room smelt terrible, spare bed had stain on cover, bench top was not clean, bathroom was not clean and towels were threadbare. Not even toilet paper on roll. People on both side of our room spent their time sitting outside smoking most of the day so we had to keep our door closed. We will not be back."

📍 59/63 Railway St, Griffith

"Only problem was the noise from the adjoining room.  Could hear talking, cupboards banging, fridge beeping and microwave dinging. Could also hear everyone walking down corridor to their rooms. People were not being overly noisy, just not sound proofed enough."

Griffith Prestige Apartments ★★★

📍 130 KOOKORA ST, Griffith

"This property is a large 3-bedroom townhouse in a secure complex which would be perfect for a family or for a longer stay. The kitchen was very well equipped with a 5-burner gas stove, 90 cm oven, coffee pod machine, microwave, toaster and cookware, as well as plenty of crockery, glassware and cutlery. On the ground floor there was a laundry equipped with a washing machine, dryer and toilet. Outside there was a private courtyard with seating and a washing line. The three bedrooms were upstairs with a spacious shared jack and jill bathroom. This was excellent with a large vanity (with lots of space to put your things), bathtub and shower. We really liked the secure lockup garage with roller door. We didn’t being instructed to empty the bins, clean the kitchen and strip the bed before checking out – we go on holiday so we don’t have to do that! "

"The room was really bad, and the soundproofing was terrible. The only good thing was that the old lady at the front desk was very professional. Be careful before booking a room, as the room was not as clean and tidy as described."

Econo Lodge Griffith Motor Inn Hotel di Griffith

Econo Lodge Griffith Motor Inn

"Words cannot describe the lack of attention to the basic standard of cleanliness of this establishment. The stench of stale cigarettes is waiting to welcome you as you enter the room. The growth of black mold on the bathroom ceiling is a sight to behold. BYO your own Windex if you are keen to utilise any of the smeared & splattered mirrors in the room & bathroom. Do not place anything on the vanity near the bathroom taps & basin as it is doubtful that any cleaning agent has been applied there since installation. There's an abundance of prior guests' public hair throughout the bathroom. It is fortunate that there's a pharmacy right nearby this hotel for you to purchase the Ibuprofen you'll need for your back after surviving the saggy old bed."
