Friendly and helpful staffs. Family room is a bit small but good enough for a stopover after a ferry trip from Dover. The town itself is very beautiful and restaurants are great.

What a great hotel. It was our "Saab" Clubs starting point for a tour to Italy. Very pleasant staff and very tasty food, both the fantastic evening meal and the breakfast. Bedrooms were perfect. We can not fault them at all. Thank you.

Despite reading a review critical of the welcome I was made very welcome despite arriving extremely early. Our room was next to noisy roadworks but the propritress suggested we move to a quieter room , which was much appreciated.

The hotel has a poor standard, old and outdated, but the staff were pleasant and helpful. The rooms should be updated. There was black mold on the windowsills. When we were going to "enjoy the view" out the window to the alley, there was a huge rat running around. Maybe it was Ratatouille from the movie? It's okay to sleep there for one night, but we didn't feel comfortable there.

When you get to this hotel, the exterior and the lobby was lovely, however it stops there! The rooms were like a hostel! The beds were very uncomfortable! The bathroom was old, dated and the toilet was like a coffin box which didn’t work! The lift up to the room and the stairs were a taste of what to come! It smelt of urine and full of dirt! When we arrived there was a fun fair on the square in front which was blaring hardcore dance music until gone 11pm. We also were subjected to screaming and shouting. The square looked lovely however we walked over the water to another hotel due to this horrific fun fair!

Stayed before an early ferry back to England. The accommodation was basic and bedroom needed some updating but adequate and within a 30 minute drive of the port of Calais. Early breakfast with a really great variety of first rate products. Excellent service and really helpful staff.

We were catching an early ferry crossing the next morning so decided to make our way to the coast and stop overnight. We thought we chose well. This hotel is friendly and comfortable and well located for an easy drive to either Dunkirk or Calais.

It pretends to be a 3-star hotel room and you pay for that but then you soon realize it is a 2-star lodging.
A jumble of outdated and non-functional furniture (the coat rack niche is occupied by a chest of drawers; single bedsteads added without bedside table or lamp; curtain too small to darken the room; dreary lights of the abat-jour, etc.)
