Ulasan Hotel Plaza Nueva

The hotel is located just behind Plaza Neuva, so great for the hop on, hop off bus tour, taxis and the back alleys with bars, restaurants and shops.  The room was clean, a good sized double bedroom with a bathroom.  It was easy to find. There is a proper reception with a human being on duty.  Free coffee from a machine in the lobby, but very sweet.  We had a few blips; only 1 cup for 2 people with the kettle and a struggle to convince the receptionist two people needed 2 cups, no milk, just sachets of coffee and tea bags, no plug for the bath, an even bigger struggle, but I succeeded, and you cannot park anywhere close by. We used an underground parking lot, €1.99 an hour.

There is nothing to choose from in the room. It is located right next to the central square, leading directly to the Cathedral of the Two Kings and the Alhambra Palace. There is also a direct bus to the Albayzín Observation Deck. Local breakfasts are very cheap. Downstairs is the restaurant area. Tapas is a local specialty, and drinks are included with every order.

This is a really great place to stay. It was a weekend evening, so I couldn't park in the parking lot the hotel recommended, and I had a hard time looking for a parking lot, but the staff were so kind that I forgot about it.

The location is good and it is in the center so it is easy to get around, but if you bring a car you have to pay 25 euros. That was a bit disappointing.

Right in the city center, very close to the bus station and restaurants and souvenir shops! The hotel can store luggage for free, and the service attitude is also very friendly. If I ask where to buy a suitcase lock, I will be helpful in giving directions. There is no thick quilt in the room, so you need to get a blanket from the cabinet to put on the bed. Moreover, there is no one at the front desk after 10 pm. If you want to buy a bottle of water, no one will answer...

It is located within walking distance of both the Alhambra and the Albaicin. It is very convenient! You can see it from the Alhambra.

The room boy had an interesting English accent and provided us with a better room, which was a room with a loft at the top of the hotel. There is a large bed upstairs and downstairs. Six-pointed star symbols can be seen everywhere in the hotel. Maybe the owner is Jewish. The room is clean and tidy, and the decoration is simple and tasteful. Most importantly, the hotel is located in the bustling New Plaza of the city, with the Albayzín district behind it. You can see the flow of people downstairs from close to you, and you can see the Alhambra Palace in the distance. Excellent location. Provided a wonderful ending to our trip.

If you drive by yourself, you need to contact the hotel in advance to enter the parking lot.

The parking lot is a 4-5 minute walk and costs 22 euros per day. Facility is old but looked clean. But it's cold. It's raining in winter. Even if you turn on the heater, it doesn't get warm because there is something wrong with the heater. It was cold so I woke up very early. sob There are many restaurants nearby, and the location is good. Parking lot is 1.45 euros in the paid parking lot near the Alhambra (You need to prepare a coin for 1.45 euros. Park, find a nearby machine, insert coins, get a parking ticket, and put the parking ticket inside the car so that it can be seen from outside the car. Please note that it is a 10-minute walk, but it is uphill)
