Fun&Sun Family Gypsophila Marine

After reading reviews on Gypsophila I was a bit reluctant, I was worried about not liking the food, not being able to communicate with staff and just generally wondering if I had picked the correct place to stay whilst in Turkey. My first impressions of the hotel (it was later in the evening around 9pm when we arrived), I was pleasantly surprised. The place wasn't overun with cats as some reviews mentioned and our room was clean and presentable. The mattress was a little harder than I was used to, but you aren't going to please everyone! I noticed people complained about housekeeping not coming everyday... This is noted in the hotel room and you can request clean towels, extra toilet paper etc, as we did. This wasn't an issue at all for any of the housekeeping staff. The pool bar was my favourite place to sit and have a beverage, the menu is limited like most all inclusive hotels, again this wasn't an issue, we all found something to drink and enjoy... Sometimes a little too much! Food wise, was my biggest concern before arrival, especially travelling with some VERY fussy eaters... I needn't have worried, the variety was vast and I can honestly say there was something for everyone, I can't speak for people with allergies as we had none in our party of 8. Yes sometimes things could have been hotter, but we were usually last at breakfast, so I imagine if we went earlier this would have been different! The snack bar by the pool would be my only mark down, due to there not being enough staff manning the place when we went on a particular day (1 person taking orders, 1 bringing the food, 1 cleaning and manning the bar) so this was a slight inconvenience, but nothing I would scoff at. Entertainment wise, we loved every second! Kids club was my 2 kids (3 and 5) favourite part of the holiday! They did crafts, treasure hunts, face painting, had a kids party (a Turkish day for children whikst we were there), beach foam party, mini golf, a disco every night and best of all they gave awards to the kids and to end the evening at kids club, they would show you a video of what the kids had been up to in the day - loved this! Also love that there was a bench and hammocks outside, if like me, you like having eyes on your children. Bigger kids/adult entertainment and during the day entertainment was brilliant too! Irem, Jemika, and Kiki (sorry if I spelt any incorrectly!)really stood out to us (the rest of the team were awesome too!), they engaged with us, got us to join in Darts, dancing and pool games, but it was also nice that they came over and checked in on us, had a chat and just made us feel welcomed! We were gutted to leave them all! We hope to cross paths with them again! Great assets to the hotel! Loved them! Evening shows were phenomenal! Proper acrobats and dancers, incredible! The beach is pebbled, which is fine, but take wet shoes/sandals and you'll have no complaints! If you get chance to parasail, do it! Rambo the watersports guy is

I would like to share my experience in gypsophila club marine. We have just come back from 10 days of vacation, a family of four. When we arrived we were welcomed in the reception desk and taken to our room. We loved our room 7138 everything that you needed was there. We had handwash but didn't have shower gel. This wasn't a problem as we always have our own. Love the hotel room. It had a notepad, a pencil sawing kit and cotton pads, and slippers, all with a hotel logo(very nice). As a recommendation, maybe small samples of shampoo, shower gel, or a hair conditioner would have been a nice touch. Towels set up decorations/figures would have been an icing on the cake 😊 something that I was looking forward to traveling to Turkey in the past. When we caught our breath, we went to look around to get some food. It was difficult to find anything to eat, we asked around but it wasn't easy to communicate. When called reception we were told the evening restaurant will be opening in about an hour. Which was fine with us, although kids couldn't wait:) The food was delicious, and every day was something different. You were spoiled for choice. The meat varied daily from chicken, lamb, and freshly grilled fish. All vegetables you could imagine were there, fresh fruit, jams, yoghurts, fresh honeycomb just anything you could wish for! The snack bar was really good as well. Once per stay you can choose to stay in a la carte restaurant, we have chosen Italian (for kids mainly) the food was delicious! Amazing service and atmosphere. Highly recommend! During our stay, I had a spa treatment package (my birthday treat) it was very relaxing and luxurious. It's up to you if you want to keep your bikini on or not. When I had a massage, my feet were slightly cold (this is just me, my feet are always freezing), so I would recommend another towel for the feet section. I can highly recommend the spa. Ladies there are so kind and polite and make you feel very comfortable. As I mentioned, i celebrated my birthday there, and to my surprise, I had a birthday card, a bottle of wine, and a fruit plate in my room on the day. This was such of sweet gesture that I'm very grateful for so Thank you!( we mainly travel around my birthday and none previous hotels we stayed in acknowledge it, so it was a very very nice). I would like to mention kids club and all the girls working there you are amazing after one visit they remembered kids names, there is so many activities for kids it's unbelievable! Both kids were crying, leaving this place. You made it special to them, so thank you! Entertainment team, it's also great. You will not be bored there ( unless if you really want to). From pool gym, darts, volleyball to zumba, and many other activities you could take part in. I've never experienced evening entertainment like it. Show/performance almost every night. Bar staff, some very nice, (Burak) making barman tricks, smiling and others not as much and could improve on their custome

I had an amazing vacation at this beautiful hotel. The hotel has a lovely garden and clean rooms that were tidied up every day. The food was excellent, and the sea was wonderfully clean. The animation team was great, and the evening entertainment didn't disappoint. However, what I appreciated the most was the fantastic work of bartenders Kadir, Oktay, and Ferdi, who made great cocktails and were very pleasant and entertaining😍 I definitely recommend this hotel and plan to return here.

Went to family holiday first time. Very happy with choise that we did to go this hotel. Friendly people, nice service and all atmospheres around is just brilliant. Very nice shows, and friendly entertainment team. Rooms are quite far away from music zone, always was able to sleep without disturbances. Thanks you very much for my 10 days of holidays

My first time in Turkey, great hotel. Special thanks for Kadir, Oktay Yuca, Sulejman and the polo team, they are THE BEST. Thank you for everything. Lots of animation, something different every day, great discos.Very helpful team and very nice. Chill lut bar serve very good drinks. Delicious g ood, in the restaurant. The hotel is beautifully located, lots of greenery, beautiful flowers everywhere, beautiful beach and pier. I will definitely come back to Turkey :)

Oktay Yuca, Kadir, Suleyman and the pool team are very very good. Chill our bar very good drinks and very nice service. Good food in the restaurant. New attractions and animations for everyone every day. clean beach. Hotel worth recommending, child-friendly. A lot of greenery in the hotel area.

Overall it’s a lovely hotel with beautiful gardens and lots of activities, so you won’t get bored. Also, it would be bonus if staff could speak and understand English better. You can just about get by as an English speaking guest, but it would make the experience better if they could communicate better. Also staff aren’t quite as friendly as other resorts and hotels I’ve been to. In fact they can be quite rude and abrupt sometimes. I would give it 5 stars if the cleanliness was at a higher standard and if staff were more friendly and welcoming. Facilities: great pools, on the beach, moderately clean (5 stars) Entertainment: very good. Different themes and decide each night. And various activities throughout the day to keep you busy (4/5 stars - in comparison to other resorts and hotels, otherwise I would give it a 5) Food: great variety of food and you can always find something to eat or drink at all times. (4 - quality of food and drinks not great, i.e. why leave alcohol bottles without lid on - I know it makes service faster, but not a nice thing to know if these are proper alcohol or refilled!) Rooms: rooms are good size and bed and bedding are moderately comfortable. Amazing shower with high pressure. (3/4 stars - the rooms need a little updating and cleaning was really bed. On the first day, there was dust, finger prints everywhere. The mirror in the bathroom was dirty. Floor was very dusty and dirty. Even with everyday cleaning, the toilets and showers weren’t properly cleaned. Cleaning standard for the rooms definitely needs improvement) Area: Kemer is a lovely location with beautiful sceneries and lots of activities. Not ideal for night out or shopping. But ideal for a nice relaxing holiday. I

When we contacted our tour operator, these things were important to us - close to the sea, good food, green hotel, convenient location. After reading the previous reviews about this hotel, we didn't know what to expect as the opinions were very mixed. Arriving at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed, since our room was not ready yet (check-in time 14.00), we went to breakfast. Every meal has a buffet. The buffet is replenished, there is always something to eat! Everyone can find something for their taste. It must be noted that the food is really good, if not great! Everything was fresh, well cooked. As for the hotel territory - green, beautiful, safe, well-kept territory. Lots of cats, other animals that are well-groomed and very friendly. There are no heated pools, but already around 1 pm the water is at a very good temperature and easily cools down after lying in the sun for a long time. The pools are clean, well maintained. One of the most beautiful areas we have been to. As for the rooms, the hotel is divided into separate cabins. The only downside is the cleaning, but since we spent very little time in the room, it was fine. Air conditioning is available in the room. Speaking of staff - a huge thank you to the whole team who took care of everything, everything during our stay. You were great! Smiling, friendly, kind, active. Thank you for the delicious cocktails and food, the fun attractions, for the smile, for the laughter, for the dancing, for the joy. Thanks to the Pool bar team, thanks to the Chill bar team, thanks to the animation team, thanks to the main restaurant team, thanks to the fish restaurant team, thanks to the cleaning team, thanks to the evening team, thanks to the reception. If I forgot someone - thank you too! We didn't want to leave this hotel, everything was really great. We went to get positive emotions and to relax, not to focus on small things.
