Environment is great

The hotel is a bit far from the city center. If there is a car, it is more convenient, but it is necessary to spit it out. July is their winter. After dinner, I went to the bedroom, but the three bedrooms had only one radiator, but the room was not too warm. The other two rooms had a radiator and one had no radiator. After many negotiations, the blanket was finally warmed. Waiting for the electrical appliances, I originally wanted to check out, but I saw that they were very good. I had a good night's sleep, I didn't expect to continually trip, power off, and half of the hot water was washed in the bath. I hurriedly wiped it with cold water. This is only 5 degrees in winter. The garden of this hotel is spectacular. Breakfast is cooked to order. It tastes good and is exquisite in appearance. Although I read the reviews and received rave reviews, I have some opinions. I don’t know what the standard is. The overall internal space is very cramped. The two rooms upstairs are also small, with only one bed. The bathroom, kitchen, laundry room and living room downstairs are very full. There is basically no place to put luggage. The sanitary conditions are average. There is still plastic paper in the washing machine and the seals are not there. It was moldy and the dryer door was full of black hair balls, indicating that the hotel did not clean the washer and dryer after the previous guest left.

The hotel environment is very clean and tidy. Although the restroom and bathroom are shared, the environment is very good. Opposite is the wow supermarket, very convenient. The restaurant on the first floor has cutlery, bread, and milk juice in the refrigerator. The hotel staff is also very friendly. In short, the experience is very good, suitable for young people to live. It is said that this hotel is 180 years old.

The old couple, Jeff & Julie, was very polite and knew that when I first came to Hobart, I took a map and introduced the surrounding environment and how to get to the main attractions. The hotel layout is very British and exquisite. One person has set a minimum room and is enough. Two people may need to be bigger.

It has a distinctive, old-fashioned taste and feels very good! Good staff nice & friendly But the room is very clean, because of the toilet seat, extremely dusty

The room is clean and well-organized, with all the basic amenities provided. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is clean with hot water available, and the air conditioning works well. There are no issues with noise, making it a great choice for those who spend most of their time outside and need a convenient place to rest and shower. The location is good and easily accessible, offering great value for the price.

The hotel is clean, well equipped & comfortable. As a ”boutique” hotel, we loved the warm fireplace int eh lobby and the small restaurant and bar area. Only a few items let them down a little; on the public holiday the kitchen was closed in the evening. In addition we ordered some mineral water to go to the room, but had to follow that up. Whilst it was supplied free of charge to make up for the delay, it would be preferred that it was simply sent as requested. Overall we loved the hotel, its location, the view, the room and the overall ”Vibe”.

Stayed in a one bedroom apartment it was spacious and clean. Lawrence on reception was terrific very helpful and friendly. Couple of small things, when we booked we asked to be away from the lifts, and we were right beside the lift. Road/ street noise was not good if your a light sleeper. Car park is limited so book early. No toaster in the unit, Lawrence was going to try and fix this. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Banjos bakery across the road. Bus stop out the front. Very central for travellers.
