Hotel w doskonałej lokalizacji. Wszędzie blisko. Budynek jest stary, ale ma klimat. Niektóre sprzęty są już wiekowe i po prostu są do odmalowania lub wymiany (wykładzina w korytarzu i pokoju to zapewne kolejna z wielu i drzwi ledwo się otwierają). Pościel i ręczniki i ogólne wrażenie czystości ok. Słabe oświetlenie w pokoju. Obsługa miła i pomocna. Śniadanie obfite, dużo rodzajów ziemniaków, bekon, kiełbaski, jajka - specyficzne, regionale, nie każdy musi lubić - nie pijcie kawy, herbata ok. Czytaliśmy w komentarzach o bezdomnych w hotelu i faktycznie nocowały tam osoby, które mogły za takie uchodzić. Ciężko to ocenić, ale nie sprawiało to kłopotu. Są windy, ale szybciej zbiegniesz po schodach - sprawdzone! Generalnie wszystko ok w takiej cenie i było całkiem miło.

Ok so I was very dubious about staying here and only chose it because there weren't many choices for just a Friday night in Glasgow that weren't ridiculously expensive. The reviews made it sound like a homeless hostel and to be frank, I was rather dreading it. However, the wing and room I was in was hard to fault - it had obviously been refurbished and the room was very comfortable indeed, well appointed and had an excellent shower and a very comfortable bed. The hotel is on the rougher end of Argyle Street and the reception is a little "institutional" but apart from that I couldn't fault the room. I was surprised to get breakfast included and while the food was fine (although the smallest fried eggs I have ever seen!) I did rather get the impression I was the only person in the room paying my own bill! However, it was ok and certainly a lot better than I had feared from the reviews.

Nice hotel price was ok as i booked direct with hotel. Hotel room could do with a colour change. Bathroom floor tyles all cracked had to climb into bath to have shower. Beds very comfortable. No view from window

I booked here as I was going to an engagement party at Yotel and didn't want to pay there prices, with it being somewhat cheaper I wasn't sure what to expect, read some reviews and was a bit sceptical, but needn't have worried, yes when you first go in its not the most inviting of places, very small reception area that needs freshening up and better lighting, as do corridors leading to rooms, but when I got to room it wasn't as abd as I thought it was going to be, bathroom looked and felt modern, had two single beds (only needed the one), wasn't the biggest room but it did me fine, couple of chairs to sit if needed, but TBF I was only there to sleep once I had come back from party. Sleep wise beds were comfy enough, pillows lacked substance but as they were plenty on each bed, not an issue, only downside is noise, I got back to hotel around 1.30 - 2am, I could still hear music being played, when that stopped the shouting started followed by the sirens, but once shut windows it was better, however had it been a warmer night I am guessing this could have been a problem. Had a kettle with coffee and Tea available, I didn't use, breakfast was buffet style, and fair play it was nice, had cold or hot options, also fruit and continental style pastries, so plenty options, the hot food was fine, maybe could have done with being a little warmer, but it was good enough. Overall if I was tomcome to Glasgow again would I come back...maybe

Never actually stayed as got booked into another hotel due to a ‘water leak’. Upon arrival we where told that we had been booked Into another hotel down the road this was because of a water leak they had so the difference and that everything was sorted. We got to the new hotel to drop off our bags and asked if all was okay with the booking to be informed that it had not been paid for. The member of staff phoned the hotel and made sure this was sorted when we returned. Motel one Glasgow is an exceptional hotel if looking for a great location, great facilities and amazing rooms.
