小鎮住宿選擇少，房間簡單，晚餐8點截止，對於北歐夏天有點太早了，畢竟極晝，其他地方玩了到這裏需要自己準備吃的

酒店環境優美，早餐三文魚自助餐好吃啊，希望下次能再去！

小鎮很漂亮 早晚很美 到村子要開一段山路 霧氣很大 晚上要小心 房間設施中規中矩，景觀很好 停車方便 值得一來 已經是該區域最好的選擇了

無景觀房其實也有景觀，門外是山和草地，羊在門口吃草。有評論這門壞了，應該是不會用，鎖門的時候要提一下門把手。此處感謝攜程客服的快速響應。餐廳非常漂亮

We were hiking through the Faroe islands and wanted a place closer to some of our rural hikes. The Gjaardardur was perfect. Our room was simple but adequate. Breakfast was delicious although the staff can get a bit overwhelmed if everyone comes down at once. Wednesday night they have a special dinner with music and traditional dancing. It was very nice. It is rural so there's not a lot to do in Gjogv besides enjoy the glorious scenery. If you're going for quiet and nature it's perfect. If you're expecting big city refinement you'll probably be disappointed.

The main building is lovely to look at. Easy to check in and out, friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast buffet and dinner is sometimes also buffet. Very good fish soup. We had a superior room which was spacious, comfortable and had very good views. All areas nicely furnished. There is a small lobby gift shop and the hotel also has a small café in the village with an outside seating area with good views of the village and sea. Close to the bird cliffs.

This guesthouse has the standard of a better hostel. Rooms are a bit boring but have all you need. I was sorry to have two single beds instead of a double bed, but it’s ok. The surroundings are just magnificent as is the view from the room. The town is just as picturesque as it gets. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was rustic and very tasty. I like that they offered only three dishes, that’s all the choice we needed. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and charming.

I really enjoyed my stay here, not only for the lovely accommodations and great food, but for the outstanding customer service. Inga at reception made my stay here particularly enjoyable by bending over backwards to accommodate my needs.

Nice little place to stop. Coffee is hot snd service is OK. Loved the grass roof building and quaint appearance. Used to have s hostel upstairs but now a sort of dining area. The chocolate eclairs were quire good. Nice place for a quick stop but mot much else here.

Our Guesthouse experience was not perfect, mainly because the shower drain was blocked which flooded the bathroom making the room unusable. They did swap rooms for us (to a less attractive room) but it was a hassle to move all things, and this was apparently a known problem. We were in the Annex. Its rooms are older and quite tired really need a refurb. Breakfast was modest but adequate. The evening meal in the restaurant was very expensive but the meals did not in our view justify the price. Although the guests were mainly couples, they had only one table for two by the window. We ordered a packed lunch, as most places in the vicinity did not have shops or cafes. We had expected this to cost about 95DKK (as in our Torshavn hotel) but it turned out to be 150 DKK each. The food was not at ball what we expected or wanted for a picnic lunch i.e. a filled roll, a piece of fruit but rather was cold crumbed fish, a pea mash and a potato salad. Perhaps some people would want this. Our fault for not inquiring about the details; we had relied on our experience with several prior picnic lunches from hotels. Gjogv is a special place and if you took a modern room, you might have a better experience than we did.

Easy check in but reception just gave us the key without any further information about breakfast or anything about the guesthouse. Didn’t feel a warm welcome. The key failed to lock the door so I have to go to the reception and ask for it then the receptionist mentioned that we have to lift up the handle first. Time waster. No TV reception nor chromecast. Bathroom was ok but shower was crappy. Drainage was bad so the whole bathroom was flooded after a shower because there is no proper shower built - there is only a shower curtain. With the price being charged, they should do a better job with the bathroom. Mattress feel dated as well. Back pain after one night of sleep. But guesthouse’s restaurant has very good food - both dinner and breakfast.

This review is for the restaurant as we did not stay there. My wife and I ate here for lunch. While it is a bit pricey, it was worth every penny! The food was amazing and the service excellent. My wife has food allergies and the chef made amazing food for her also! We highly recommend it. It’s Hard to get a table in the evening as the guests staying there will get first priority. But, you should be able to book a lunch and we would do it in a heartbeat again.

Good accommodation outside the main centres in the Faroes is not easy to find, and good restaurants in the more remote countryside are even rarer. This makes the Gjógv guesthouse even more of a find - very comfortable, and an excellent restaurant, all in the stunning location of Gjógv (population about 50, scenery wow factor about 5,000!) It is strongly advised to tell the restaurant in advance if you want to have an evening meal there, and last table reservations are 7.30. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is not bad either!

What a fabulous place. We were staying in the annex which is a short walk down into the village. Great facilities. Only complaint was that the window didn’t fully shot which made the room cold. The food here is amazing. We had dinner which was the best meal we had in the Faroes. Breakfast produce was excellent as well.
