Everything was perfect - from the glorious Mountain View from the hot spring bath inside our room to hearty Japanese breakfasts. The hotel building and the gardens were beautiful and the stuff very thoughtful and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful night at this hotel. Beautiful surroundings with magnificent views of the autumn leaves all around. It’s worth it to wait until autumn to come to this hotel. We loved the onsen and the true Japanese experience of Kaiseki afterwards. Vi was a lovely staff member that helped us with our meal on the night. Wonderful service from everyone and worth the price! Thank you for a memorable stay!!

The Hotel can be more user friendly by providing : 1, benches or chairs at the hotel entrance for guests to take-off/put-on shoes. 2, some hangers in the room to hang clothing and towels.

Good food. Old history with mission to be completed. Nice staff Public hot spring is much better than the private one.

酒店在山上，有專車送上去。抵達時已接近下午五點，簡單泡了個露天温泉後，便去用了特地訂的飛彈牛排會席料理。加之第二天的早飯，餐食這一項，確實沒有留下什麼太深刻的印象。唯有A5飛驒牛肉還算肉質肥美，嫩而不膩。旅館始建於1932年，四周古柏環繞，滿目蒼翠，館內也是曲徑通幽，別有洞天，適合有獵奇心的人過來一探究竟。晚上泡在私湯裏，耳邊衹有大自然的聲音，真是悠然自得，真想在下呂躺平啊。

老樓是1926年建的，我們住的是相對新的新樓，要轉電梯，晚餐我們沒有定定食，在20.00以後才開篝火餐廳吃的拉麪，炸雞，豬肉鍋。玄關有免費的美式，味道不錯。打卡的活動很有意思，正好一路瞭解酒店的佈局跟歷史。早餐很有儀式感。雖然領我們去房間的服務員，不太會英文，但是不影響我們之間努力的交流，很不錯。

火車到站就有司機老爺爺舉着牌子等我們，上了小巴後，等時間到了就發車前往酒店。到了酒店，替我們辦理入住是前台的一位親切的女士，特別熱情和細心，一直送我們進入房間，一路上介紹和囑咐了許多，記不住也可以撥打前台熱線，令我們感受到了賓至如歸！晚上泡湯區零星幾個人，大家都很有序，比較驚歎的是每個人都會在吹完頭髮後，自己用紙巾撿走地上的頭髮，難怪即使沒有工作人員在場，公共區域也保持這樣的整潔。早餐發現身邊也有好多華人，各種方言好不熱鬧。酒店雖然比較老，但是一切維護得當，工作人員都很淳樸熱情，希望有機會可以再回到湯之島。
