We went to Gatlinburg to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary. Hotel is new. Hotel manager has really dropped the ball. "Punch list" of fixes and clean ups that are often done just before closing was not colpleted. Others have stated some in their reviews. Cabinet doors in kitchenette need to be adjusted, as microwave door scrapes. Tape residue, excess grout, etc was never fully cleaned up before opening. The cabinets do not have door and drawer handles... they said that they serve coffee in the morning but you must bring your own cup. We were shorted one mug in our room. They made a point to tellus that they did not serve breakfast... do they plan to at some point? We werent sure.
The elevators are stainless steel, but definitely stain, they were a handprint mess. There are products that polish stainles steel, and this was just a management "drop". We were watching a show on tv, and all of a sudden got a mesage that that channel was no longer part of this hotels service.
Im surprised that the company does not make sure their new hotels are up and running well. This hotel is in a nice location, and just needs some help with management. Staff was friendly. They were full. I hope they get these things worked out soon, so they can be successful.
