Rooms were clean and well furnished. Rooms are ventilated but are not exactly view facing they are mostly facing the street . Hotel staff is cooperative and friendly. If you want to have dinner you have to order in advance . Breakfast and food though requires a bit of improvement. Overall our experience was fine. It's a good stay at an affordable price.

What a horrible experience.PLEASE NOTE THE PHOTOS ON THE SITES ARE ABSOLUTELY DECEIVING .The experience started immediately after entering the room... 1) The Veiw from the window......of a toilet...the room was located on the first floor.No rooms available on asking since the whole hotel was booked by some tourist company 2) Next we entered the washroom the toilets were unclean , fresh towels were not available 3) After this we decide to rest after a long long journey and lift the blanket to see dirty bedsheets with dirt and hair all over...Had to call the housekeeping to change all the bedsheets .On asking they kept on insisisting that those were the fresh bedcovers....also mentioned that its a family room and not many guests come in this room. 4) Breakfast was to be served in the room and the restaurant wasn't available for us as the hotel was booked including the cafeteria. 5) Breakfast was not served as they were able to provide only after 8:30 am .We had to leave at 8 am so had to look for food outside. 6) morning we get up and there was no water. So got very late to leave for our destination. The staff tried to help but unfortunately the situations were out of their control. Please note: the breakfast included in the package is not a buffet breakfast but a fixed platter. Attached picutres are of the veiw from the window .

The property is having good location and the staff is courteous, soft spoken and cooperative . The family suite room is excellent with good mountain view . Their is some water problem but I think it is in entire Gangtok. The hotel should have a better menu

This hotel was chosen by our tour company and it wasn't well suited to our needs. we wouldn't stay there again. There were positives - a large and comfortable room, excellent mountain views (top floor), good wifi connection in the room, plenty of hot water and very close proximity to M.G. Marg. However food provision is poor. There is no restaurant at all, so if you require breakfast you need to pre-order room service and choice is very restricted. Dinner can also be provided on the same basis but choice is limited, quality no more than adequate and timekeeping (for both breakfast and dinner) is very bad. There are many options for food close by so if you are looking to book just a room with no expectations of food, this hotel will be a reasonable choice.

Good services and staff is very supportive. Views from the rooms are amazing. Hotel located at the main market place. Rooms are clean.

The hotel was a great place to stay, after a long trip from Siliguri, right in town but surprisingly quiet , no disturbance . The staff were fabulous and really looked after us . It's a family run business and they treat their customers like family , refreshingly local. Would definitely recommend friends and family to stay here whenever they are in this part of the world. Thank you Mr kazi and family .

Dzongkar is a newly come up property which is in the heart of town, clean rooms good view and easily accessible as in not more than 5 min walk from mg marg. Really loved the place looking forward to visiting again.

Hospitality and hygiene of this place is top notch. Staff are diligent and cordial. The property is highly recommended for stay in gangtok as location is it's biggest USP and owned by a local Sikkimese family..!!

Astonishingly soothing experience…. Scenic Mountain View & congenial ambience. Freshly constructed and well placed making it extremely accessible for all points in Gangtok. Sumptuous breakfast was the home run !!
