It was very beautiful! Our host Shashi and her family were super hospitable and kind to us throughout the stay. The breakfast was our highlight every day. We had traditional Sri Lakean food served with fresh juices and fruits. The beach was very close to the hotel and we could observe the ocean while having breakfast. The locals were friendly but you need to be careful with the Tuk Tuk drivers sometimes. They try to rip you off and demand a very high price. So watch out for that and stay save!

It’s chamber, very unique place just at the beach. It is led by amaizing people! We stayed one night but the atmosphere was amazing. We had perfect rest. And in the morning we had delicious breakfast!

Good guesthouse with 3-4 rooms at the beachfront. Good breakfast. Nice place to have a break from people and the city. The room on the 2nd floor was clean with good a/c and a comfortable bed. There were free sunbeds with towels on their own beach under the palms. Good value for money. If improve the area with a path, lawn and terrace in case of rain, it would be great

Pros: Dearest host family ever, big breakfast right on the beach, tips and contacts for the rest of the trip, beautiful view from the room of the beach with palm trees and sea. Cons: No air conditioning. Lots of mosquitoes and very warm in the room despite an additional fan from the host. Other rooms probably have A/C, so just ask. :) To recommand!

Arcade beach hotel is not pretty from the road ! But ignore that !!!, it is a hidden Oasis behind .. You walk through the hotel into a garden leading directly onto a stunning,beautiful uncrowded beach and it feels like paradise !! You have your plentiful and yummy breakfast served to you on the beach in lovely white china by the Hosts Shashi and harshit .. They are the loveliest people and make you feel like family immediately . Nothing is too much trouble, sun bed in the sun , sun bed in the shade they will move it around, cold beer at lunch , snacks , they will serve it … Several places on the beach for lunch and supper . They picked us up at the airport and drove us to GALLE for a very reasonable price too. The rooms are basic but big but if you are seeking a quiet beach with fabulous hosts look no further !

The small guesthouse with only three rooms us a wonderful and peaceful place. The hospitality of the owners goes far beyond my expectations and we loved to stay here for a couple of nights. Directly on the beach and away from the crowded town and beach of Bentota. A real gemstone !

We had two beautiful nights at Arcade Beach Hotel. The direct access to the beach is unbeatable. Very quiet beach and it was practically for us alone! Very beautiful. Shashi made us a very tasty traditional breakfast with this beach view. In general, we have to say that we felt very comfortable with Shashi. She is a super attentive, helpful and friendly hostess! We had a simply furnished room but had everything we needed (towels, mosquito net, fridge, etc.) and a room with a directly view to the sea! It was the perfect start for our round trip. Highly recommended! Thank you Shashi for the nice days 🌞

It is a budget hotel with four rooms right on the beach , beautiful location . The Hosts are excellent, they take care of all your requirements right from Airport pick up to drop. Shashi made sure that all my requests were catered . The breakfast she made was the best , thoroughly enjoyed the home cooked dishes she served .
