Wonderful place to stay in a great location from which to explore the Galle Fort area. Lovely hosts and a very delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. Very comfortable room - the shower was ok but a bit variable. Overall, highly recommended for a stay in lovely Galle Fort. Excellent value and hospitality.

Very clean room. Nice communication prior to arrival, and very welcoming on check-in. Cold drink provided on check-in. The room feels is a little small, mainly because the bed is vast. In a perfect location in the Fort area, with the restaurants all within minutes of walking. Would highly recommend for a nights stay.

Great stay here. Staff are very friendly. Room was nice had everything we needed, especially air Con and mosquito net. Few bugs in the room but no worries there. Fantastic location.

For the price paid, this is an excellent room, albeit a bit of a low ceiling because it's in a gorgeous old colonial building. If you decide to stop in Galle for a night to chill in the old city, this is a perfect location and comfortable place to stay.

The room is warm and cozy. It's convenient for food and accommodation in the ancient city. The boss is also friendly.

Гостевой дом находится в историческом центре в здании тех лет. Встречают очень дружелюбно с улыбкой и приветственным напитком. Номер небольшой, чистый, для ночлега вполне подходит. Все достопримечательности в шаговой доступности

A walkable distance from the main gate, this guest house lies in a quiet street free from the city bustle. The building with its airy balconies may well go back to the Dutch era. The owner is very helpful and friendly, as are all the staff, and the whole place has a warm family atmosphere. The balconies allow the chance to meet and talk to other guests (but not too late, to avoid disturbance!) The area was not free of biting insects even in the dry season, but the mosquito nets saw them off. And last but not least, the breakfast was the best I had in Sri Lanka, well presented and all you could eat till the evening!

All the positive reviews of this place are justified, everything was basically perfect. The location is right in the heart of the Fort but a little away from the busiest street so its quiet. The rooms are presently beautifully and everything is clean. Hot water, fan and aircon are all great. The common areas are nice and have a book exchange shelf. The breakfast is enormous and delicous, very good value. The only reason I did not have it both days is that it was just too generous! The staff are very attentive and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone. Only thing I would mention is the narrow staircase in to the property. For most people no problem at all, but for someone with limited mobility this might be an issue.
