Overall great location. Nice people and food was okay.

The trip was nice and the location and ambience of the facility was great.

Loved how big the rooms were. The main pool was quiet and staff were so friendly. I also loved having the stray kitties around!

Very beautiful ,love this place! Although the evening of March 18th there was a waiting line for people at least 20 waiting for a ride back to their room there were only two people working the gulf carts after a half hour we finally got our ride way up top to our room and the driver of the gulf cart was miserable,we still tipped him but as we got out of the cart he got a call to pick more people up and he threw a temper tantrum very childish

I would have given a slightly better rating had it not been for our check-in experience at the resort. A staff member informed us that because we got the room through ******* and not directly through the resort, “there was an expectation” that we attend the “Marguerittaville Experience” during our stay. This was a timeshare presentation. When I said that we did not want to spend our family vacation time on such a thing, she turned unpleasant and said she would “mark us down as refusing” and the warm smile that greeted us, turned into a scowl. we paid close to $6,000 for six nights, (including flights for four from DC) and I am not going to be told how I spend my vacation. It was a miserable start to our trip. The first night, we had to call five times to get bedding for the sofa bed which was pretty annoying. Don’t come here for the beach, the ocean is murky and Coki beach nearby was covered in trash - beer bottles and discarded fast food containers. The pool was fun for the kids, some of the staff were friendly and the resort grounds were in good shape but we wouldn’t return here:

You will feel like you were catfished by the photos of the property. While the area of the resort and the property itself is beautiful, it is not a 4-star resort as they claim to be. First off, there's no usable beach. The photos of the beach area are old. It has sunk since and now is only good for taking pictures of the bay. You have to walk or catch a shuttle to the nearby Coki beach, which is fine, but not what you'd expect from a property that claims to have a beach. Secondly, the prices for the mediocre food at the restaurant are very high, and the so-called cafe is equally as bad, with a bottle of water costing $9. They do not provide any water in rooms, so you are stuck either paying obscene prices for it, or drinking tap which is not for everyone. The use of plastic is outrageous considering there's no one cleaning it up from the beach/pool areas so it all ends up in the ocean. They really need to rethink how they are addressing that problem and possibly install a water filtration system for guests to able to refill their bottles. There's no daily service provided in rooms, it cost extra. The taxis are available but charge per person, and make many stops and take the long route. Overall, we felt price-gouged at this resort and disappointed considering the high cost of the accommodation. For nearly $500/night you'd expect much more amenities, value, and food options. Would not recommend.

Room was a nice size for the 4 of us. There are a lot of stairs and walking so be aware of that when booking. Property was nice and we had a great time at the hilltop pool. Food and drinks reasonable priced. Staff was friendly.

The only reason the property even has any starts is because of Curtis thank you for at least making sure my fiancé first time on the island was semi good. If your looking for a resort you got to walk a lot and also never have a ride or good customer service this is your place I will never stay at this resort again thank you

It was great. I just wish we knew that you can’t park anywhere near your rooms and that you need to rely on the golf carts to pick you up if you don’t plan to do the hike.
