Park Hotel Terme Mediterraneo

We stayed at this hotel that was booked through Exotica. My sister and I went as our first sister trip together. While the garden looks beautiful when you first get there, the hotel itself was very dated. The beds were rock hard, the pillows rock hard and we asked for extra bath towels at front desk and they said no but we could rent a pool towel for $10 euro for a week. No matter if the cleaning staff came in, the room always smelt of urine. We are in our forties and the majority of their clientele are very senior clientele. You have to choose your dinner meals the morning of and nobody told us that they were included, although I’m not sure we would have stayed based on the atmosphere. The breakfast was exactly the same for the four days we were there. The kitchen/dining rm staff were pleasant but we definitely felt out of place. It is also a very long ways away from restaurants and shopping. I think there would have been better places to stay at Ischia.

I’ve had a wonderful time, so peaceful, clean and welcoming. I have been enjoying it mostly every summer since 2016. There is everything I needed , I cannot decide if I preferred more the stars at night or the wonderful sunshine over the pools in the mornings or the spa… Pina, Lucio and Antonio definitely made me feel at home away from home. Location is great too. Easy to walk towards my favourite beach ‘spiaggia di citara’ or there is a bus stop to explore the island a little more

The hotel has a beautiful tropical garden. The pools are exceptional, including the hot water pool. The pool bar serves excellent Italian food at reasonable prices. Lucio was very helpful for luggage transport, always with a smile.

The main parts of the hotel are well looked after and the pools are nice. Sadly the rooms are quite dated, for instance the room only had one modern electric point. There is no tea or cups in the room and the air conditioning was not working. The food is at best mediocre with stale pastries, some (like the croissants) were more breads than pastries. There Iscia sandwich involved toasting lettuce!! The outside bar did not even have a wine list. On the good side there are some excellent eating places nearby.

Accommodation in a 4-star hotel does not meet the standard of even the cheapest hostels. Mold in room No. 210 - see photo. The reluctant night porter claimed that the accommodation was fine this way. The room was supposed to be in the main building, but was completely off campus.

High standard hotel. Clean rooms, excellent cuisine, kind and helpful staff, a beautiful hotel garden and a pool with thermal water. Nearby is the thermal park of the Poseidon Gardens and the public beach of Citara, to which the hotel bus goes for free. We would love to come back again. 👍

We were so excited to go here but were left disappointed. The pool pictures look great but are deceiving as you have to wear a hat in the pool at all times - this was not made clear when booking. When we asked about this we were told they did not see how this would be an issue for us!! And the pool is smaller than the pictures suggest! The room we were put in initially was awful and we watched lots of arrivals being placed in the same room. We found a suitable room eventually but it dampened the start of the holiday. The food was awful, it was a set menu and the restaurant manager decided where you would sit and when you were allocated a table you had to stay there for the whole holiday. We asked to move and were told no. Luckily one waiter helped us out and we got moved but we had to choose what we would eat at breakfast and the menu was limited. We had picked the hotel as we were told the food was good but it was not. The best food was at the lunch bar. We ended up eating out so it felt like a holiday. If you pick the half board option from your agent then you can't get a refund, our agent was awful and not helpful when we had problems. My final point would be about the welcome, we were not made to feel as welcome as some and if they knew the restaurant manager they got preferential treatment. It is a shame that how the hotel is presented online is not the reality!

As a family of 4 with 2 adult children we had a superb stay . Plus points - Great pool's Plenty of sun-beds (and shade) Typical Italian menu (selected at breakfast but can be changed whilst at dinner) Friendly and helpful staff Large clean rooms Reasonable bar prices ( Draught DAB 5 euro, Aperol 6, Italian cognac(recommended) 3.5 and long short drink 6) Supermarket 5 mins away tho walk along the road can be "entertaining" Rooms in main complex have a fridge and great aircon. Pool bar lunch prices between 5-12 euro's were tasty ! Wine at Dinner between 15-30 Euro a bottle. Negatives - You have to get bus/taxi to go anywhere. Though I think most hotels on Ischia are like this unless in a town centre . We were happy to stay at the hotel and just RELAX We used feelNaples as the transfer franchise - great going , absolute shambles travelling back , we made ferry by 2 minutes and had to pay extra !!! No aircon in Restaurant (not blaming hotel as it was exceptional hot)

Se non vi volete rovinare la vacanza evitate questo hotel! Assolutamente non è da 4 stelle, dalla camera superior con materassi che fanno venire mal di schiena alla mezza pensione di qualità veramente insufficiente. Un hotel frequentato soprattutto da clientela tedesca anche in età avanzata, a cui probabilmente piace questo cibo da mensa aziendale. quindi se siete una famiglia con figli piccoli non è un posto per voi(probabilmente non siamo clienti interessanti per la direzione!). Ho riscontrato una serie di disservizi dall’inizio alla fine che non sto qui ad elencare ma che la direzione sa bene, e che come cliente mi hanno offesa e rovinato il soggiorno!
