This place is simply world-class. I can't think of another hotel experience where I've had absolutely zero to say by way of improvement. The location, food, and facilities are, of course, excellent. It's the people and the service that set Mezzatorre apart from the rest. It's like taking a time machine to what we imagine travel was like for Cary Grant or Audrey Hepburn. Every staff member was so welcoming, attentive, and gracious, making for an exceptional anniversary visit. Recommend 1,000%.

Finalmente- oh joy - a coffee machine in the room. I know coffee machines are a step down for the coffee aficionados of Italy but what a relief to have that first coffee of the day in bed. We were kindly given a room upgrade and had a lovely view of the sea. The weather was atrocious (as it had been on all of our holiday) but that didn’t detract from the warmth of the staff. Included in the price of the stay is time in the thermal spa which was fortuitous given the weather outside. The hot jets were great for my neck pain. Le Baia and Le Torre restaurants served up their daily delights of fresh fish (appreciated by my husband) and delicious pasta with Ischia’s sweet tomatoes and Burrata cheese (appreciated by me). Accompanied by Ischia’s Biancolella wine we couldn’t have wanted for more. Well done the bar team for quickly opening up indoor spaces as the rain came down. And then there are the staff. You make the Mezzatorre. So thank you Salvatore, Antonio (x2), Valerio, Nello, Lucca, Marco, Piedro, Giovanni, Raffaele, Olina, Alessandro, Martina, Matteo, Renato, Davide, Massimo, Giuseppe, Francesco and those whose names I never managed to learn. Come back soon Manuela. After the rain a beautiful rainbow and a perfect still moonlit night on our last night. Grazie tutti. See you next year.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had an amazing time. The place is idyllic and the views are something from a dream, as is the thermal spa and food offering. The hotel has a shuttle to the nearest town which can be called which was lovely and allowed us to venture out into the local area, the hotel staff were also able to provide brilliant recommendations for restaurants. Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely incredible hotel from location, rooms, food, service, pool - all were of the highest quality. My wife and I went and stayed in the main tower with a sea view. I would highly recommend this hotel. Spa and thermal spas were perfect. Also would highly recommend visiting Ischia - more local, less touristy than Capri or Amalfi.

This was our third consecutive vacation at Mezzatorre’s. This Hotel is our favorite in Italy. We live in New York but we are Italian … and we can’t wait to go to Mezzatorre’s every summer! If you love Mediterranean food, speak to the Manager at the Main Restaurant’s, Salvatore.. You’ll have a memorable experience! The members of the Staff are very dedicated and they truly care! We have many dietary restrictions and yet nothing is a problem! Chef Silvestro is the kindest Chef we have ever met! Mezzatorre has direct access to the sea and it feels very safe… We don’t usually write reviews .. but for this Hotel we feel like we must make an exception …

Large room with extremely comfortable beds and soft sheets. Large walk in shower with great water pressure. Bath towels were very soft and large with a towel warmer. In room espresso machine and beach towels for the balcony lounge chairs. Two closets and a little bistro table inside and a bistro table on the balcony to enjoy your morning coffee or sunset cocktails. The staff were all so very thoughtful and kind. They moved patio furniture to accommodate our group for everyone to enjoy conversation and cocktails before and after dinner. We always were able to have a lounge chair at the pool or beach. The staff was very responsive to our requests and food/beverage orders.

Gorgeous property, best location on island, incredible service, amazing food! We were really blown away by all aspects of the hotel. The view from all angles takes your breath away, the staff is kind and incredibly helpful, and the food is outstanding. Rooms feel newly renovated and have good amenities. Only note for future guests is if you want a front row at the beach, go on the earlier side! We will certainly return!

The hotel is beautiful but it is the lovely staff who really make it shine. The extras in the room like the complimentary snacks and soft drinks and the hair care are fabulous. The private beach is amazing and there is not one bad spot to sit - every spot is wonderful and you can move along with the sun throughout the day. Free shuttle to nearest village are a plus! We specifically came to Ischia to try this hotel and it was worth the price. 10/10.

Just wow. The hotel is so well run. From the moment we checked in Salvatore and Alicia confirmed all of our activities, including ones I had separately booked, and even lined up our taxis needed during the stay. Salvatore, F and B manager, is warm, welcoming and totally onsite to make sure all of your dining experiences are perfect. The staff at the pool are terrific. Lia at the spa gave my husband a great massage. The thermal spa area is beautiful and so relaxing and very unique. The resort is built on a hill so rooms are on different levels and at the end of the night the front desk always had someone on hand to give you a lift back to your room. We really enjoyed our Mt Epomeo hike with Emanuele, with their recommended travel company, Fouraday, as well as the amazing lunch provided at a mountain home. Hotel is located in walking distance to Mortella Gardens - a very special place to visit. Our room and outdoor patio were beautiful, and spacious with a view of the sea. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area.
