Ulasan C-Hotels Joy

This is a hotel probably bought out by C-Hotels. It definitely did not feel like a 4-star hotel, more like a 2 or 3 star hotel. Strengths: - The hotel location was perfect. It was right by Firenze SMN train station and was only a 1-2 minute walk away. - Great breakfast buffet and friendly restaurant staff. Helped make coffees proactively every money. Super attentive. - Two elevators in the hotel. Weaknesses: - The hotel WiFi did not work on our first day but they got it fixed shortly. - They seemed to be short on towels and pillows. We had to keep asking for more towels because they only gave us 1-2 towels per bathroom. We also needed the sofa bed and requested for 2 more pillows because the pillows are thin but we couldn’t get any extra pillows until our last night. - One of the two TVs did not work/did not turn on. - Hair dryer in the bathroom did not work. There was also no bathroom fan so the bathroom always smelled funky. We had a “junior suite” (the best room that they had apparently so we got no room upgrade) which was just two connecting rooms but one room had a sofa bed with a small bathroom while the other room had a queen bed with a slighter bigger bathroom. The smaller bathroom had a shower with a flimsy, stow-away shower doors. There was only one hybrid shampoo and shower gel provided for a 4-star hotel. - Lots of mosquitoes and flies were inside the room. - While the design of the room was modern, the room already looks tired and worn out. Towels smelled funny, bed sheets didn’t appear to be the cleanest, and room floors still seemed dirty. - Poor sound proofing as we could hear sounds coming from the outside on the ground floor. We were in floor 1 (second floor) and right outside the elevator. - Our luggages were just left outside in the open lobby where we had left them when we arrived at the hotel (before the 3 pm check-in) for storage. We left them around 1 or 2 pm and we came back in the evening. Thought they’d store the luggage somewhere more secure.

Flight got cancelled due to geopolitical unrest. Hotel was not compassionate enough to allow a refund or any refund. Oh well thankful Trip helped in a little refund.

Location is great with 3 minutes walk. Great amenities in the room as well.

Room quite basic but gets the job done but wished they separate their body and hair wash.

The location is convenient, very close to the train station. There are many restaurants nearby. There's a great steakhouse, just a few dozen meters away.

The hotel room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The check-in process was smooth and quick. They also offered drinks and snacks in the waiting area while we waited to check in, which was a nice touch especially during this heat wave. The location is excellent. There is a bus stop for the city sightseeing right outside the hotel, and it’s only about a 5-minute walk to the train station. It’s very convenient for travelers who plan to visit other cities by train. One area that could be improved is that we were assigned a room on the ground floor, and the bathroom was a little dusty. It seemed as though the room had not been used for quite some time before our stay. Other than that, everything was great. It’s a very good hotel, and I would highly recommend it.

Have a nice stay

The room conditions were unacceptable and far below the standards expected: • The room was infested with bed bugs. • The heating system did not work at all. • The hairdryer was not functioning. • The showerhead holder was loose and unstable. • The room was full of dust, showing poor cleaning standards. • The carpet and bed fabrics were old, dirty, and covered with lint and hair. This combination of hygiene and maintenance problems made my stay extremely uncomfortable. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, and I strongly believe a refund should be issued for such conditions.

A decent hotel in a very convenient location right next to the railway station, although the surroundings are not particularly attractive. The area is quite busy, with a lot of traffic, buses, and people passing through. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is decent. The only downside is that the rooms are very small and there is no wardrobe. Overall, it’s a good option for an overnight stay, but probably not the best choice for a longer stay.

The standard room is too small for the price and the town. Firenze is a small town compared to Roma but the room price to size ratio is high.

We had a wonderful stay at c-hotels Joy Firenze - the location is ideal for exploring Florence. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from Santa Maria Novella train station, which made both arrival and departure incredibly easy, and most major sights are within walking distance.  The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was going well. Breakfast every morning was great, and a huge shout-out to Jade, whose kindness and willingness to go above and beyond made our mornings even better!  Our room was spotless and smelled amazing - honestly one of the best hotel room scents we’ve experienced, I’d happily use whatever they’re using at home! Overall, this was a fantastic base for our Florence trip. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city - a perfect mix of location, service, comfort, and value. 10/10 from us!
