Palais Nazha Fes - Luxury Lodging

The riad is in a very good location and well appointed, but what sets it apart are the friendliness and helpfullness of the staff. Soufiane, Seddik and Redouane attended to our every need. From organizing guides, picking us up on arrival, even calling restaurants to accomadate us during ramadan. Many thanks to them and hope tonsee them again.

I’ll start by saying they post fake pictures and claim to have a pool they don’t. The staff seems very kind: it’s only for the tip. No genuine kindness, just attempts to push additional services. They say they have a Hammam, but it’s actually a 10-minute walk from the Riad, in another identical but dirtier Riad. The guide provided by the hotel doesn’t take you to interesting places but aims to take you to shops to buy carpets, leather, argan oil, etc. And if you don’t buy, they give you the silent treatment.

Be careful when booking this riad - it is not guaranteed you will get to stay at this riad as they have a tendency to overbook and try to shift you to other worse ‘partner’ riads. Not a great thing to experience when you are on holiday and have looked for a nice play to stay

Avoid the Palais Nazha Fes! We had the worst experience of our entire Morocco trip at this Riad: not only were several pictures on the internet fake and not of this hotel, we were also cheated by the two young guys (Soufiane and his sidekick) managing this property. Contrary to its claim of “luxury lodging”, the rooms were anything but luxury: no cups to put your toothbrush, no hangers to put your wet towels, no heating in the bathroom - it was ice cold. Breakfast was a disaster consisting of the cheapest ingredients. After we shortened our stay and moved to another much friendlier Riad after one night, the managers promised us that the booking website would pay us back if we cancel our entire booking. That was their cunning way to get us off the booking website so that we could not write a review about our experience. The only way to make the managers pay us back the 3 nights, as they promised, was to get the police involved and several hours were wasted on heated and hostile discussions and being shouted at by the manager. In the end we got back less than 80% of our money. It is cheats like Soufiane & Co. at the Nazha Fes that lure tourists with fake pictures to their substandard hotel and don’t care about the reputation of their country in the eyes of unsuspecting travelers. Thankfully we made lots of positive experiences following this shocker. AVOID THIS DUMP! -J&N

Nice Riad to stay in Fez, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is delicious, our room was very clean and comfortable. Is very easy to get walking to the main highlights in the old medina.

I came to this riad in the morning having found them on trip advisor. I saw on *********** they had a single room at a good price and went in and asked for that room. I was told that room wasn't available despite it still being available on multiple booking sites and so would have to pay double for a three person room that was available. I agreed as it did seem like a nice place. I asked for a tour guide for the next day which was sorted by the riad. The tour guide had very little knowledge to share and only took me to way overpriced tourist shops and tried to push me into buying things. I was told the tour would be 3 hours and we would go wherever I wanted but this was far from the case. After two hours of being taken from shop to shop, not buying anything, I was then told the tour was over and left with vague directions to get back. After walking 45 minutes back to the riad, I saw the tour guide standing outside with riad host who has organised the tour. They saw me walking down towards the riad and quickly parted ways. Overall, it is a nice riad, if not quite plain and empty, the terrace has nowhere to actually sit. The let down comes from the staff and services they provide as the whole thing felt unfortunately like every opportunity to get as much money out of you as possible. Wouldn't recommend staying here as there are many other lovely riads to stay in.

This is a great and well maintained Riad on the edge of the Medina. The street for taxis is ~30m away. Meaning easy entry and exit with the luggage. The Riad is clean and very well maintained. The rooms are rustic but comfortable and at these prices, amazing value for money. The owner made dinner for us at our request, served on the roof top balcony, and this was a highlight. The breakfast was totally fine. We highly recommend Riad Nazha

Super helpful host, caring and always keen on giving us advice and jokes :) food was very good, lovely breakfast on a warm terrace. I especially enjoyed the “harsha” with jam. I’ll come back for sure!

Before meeting Abdo we start calling for organizing our stay in Fes, all looks too nice to be true, when we arrive directly I felt that he was meant every world he said, that the Riad will be our house. We cooked many meals in the kitchen, he even organized a surprise birthday for me and was directly part of our filming team.  Abdo knows the city like his pocket and has a lot of contacts, that help us to film easily in the complex city of Fes. And if you didn't t try the real family food of Karima the manager, you can say you tried real Moroccan food, See you soon again,
