I don't know where to start from. I travelled to so many countries hotel and this was the worst hotel do far from the check-in to check out hotel management and employees made sure that I won't get one day peace in that old rusty out outdated hotel. Receptionist are soo rude they would literally tell you to get out from the lobby and wouldn't respond to your request. I paid so much money to get big room with river view and got lousy street face view there was no room service no air-conditioning no water to drink there was nothing that make u think that this is 4 star hotel Reception changed me 42 euro hotel tex when I checked in and then 290 dharam for city tex which everyone told me I shouldn't have paid because there is no such thing as city tex at the hotel as I was there with my two kids a really rude racist man threatened me to call the police if I don't pay city tex .... be aware they will do anything to take more money out from you so please never ever choose this shitty hotel with racist receptionist. They will con you everyday. Really bad dirty hotel please stay away from this dark place.

I just love it here...very nice service... excellent view...I highly recommend it...I came here first time with friends,then I had to come back because I liked the vibs and they are open till late..if you are in fez ..go check it out..you will enjoy the moment

Personally, I really enjoyed my time at Hotel Menzeh Zalagh and I would return here again, both on my own and with my family. The hotel itself is beautifully furnished and decorated - it has a Moroccan flair with Western touches which is a perfect mix for those who want to explore a new culture while still enjoying familiar comforts. My room was comfortable and clean, and all the linen smelt fresh. The mini fridge was 100% a God-send and the desk/vanity was also really nice to use for both my skincare routine and catching up on some work emails. Furthermore, the balcony area of the room is a really nice touch - for bird lovers especially, the balcony is a good place for birdwatching and enjoying their morning song. The breakfast service here is lovely and guests can enjoy a mixture of different foods. I personally enjoyed the yoghurt, and the grilled tomatoes complement the scrambled eggs nicely. Most importantly I want to highlight the lovely staff at the hotel. Whether it was at the restaurant, reception or concierge service, all the staff with whom I spoke were amazing. They were kind and helpful and they made me feel really welcome. I am grateful to say that I had a very positive experience here.

The outside property of the hotel is beautiful. The surrounding area looks terrible. The rooms have balconies facing the pool or garden view. My room was okay. The rooms could stand some improvements and better housekeeping. The location did have transportation.

We stayed only 1 night with a group and shocked by the rudeness of the restaurant staff and incredibly noisy room with no hot water😡😡😡 It was the worst 4 * hotel I had been, and does not deserve even one star !!! I dont recommend this hotel to anyone if you do not want to ruin your holiday, will definitely inform our tour company to prevent further nightmares !

Basic Clean Accommodation , Poor Services , Poor Directional Signage & Sense of Guest’s security & Buffet Food & Service quality ( dinner and bfast ) a total disaster. The climate control in the room was malfunctioned and the wifi provided - a waste of time.

We spent 2 nights in this rather dated hotel as part of a tour of Morocco. It needs a good upgrade to compete with other hotels on the tour. We had 2 breakfasts and one dinner at the hotel , non of which were inspiring. Was glad when we moved on.

This hotel need serious refurbishing. Rooms are dirty. Old fashion. Bathroom fittings are unreliably bad. Looks like some children have done the repair work. Shower head is so low we had to take it out from the wall and use it holding in our hand. The Safety locker could not open. Please see the photographs.

Travelled with a tour group, stayed 2 nights (wish we didn't even stay one). Water leakage in the bathroom, tv stuck on CNN(even after requesting someone provide spare batteries for the remote).Not to mention extravagant prices for tea/water compared to standard supermarket.Enter at your own peril!

This large hotel has great views, is in a good location, short walk to a large, modern shopping centre. There is a train nearby below the hotel and you do hear it but its not too loud. Nice restaraunt with buffet breakfast. There is a small shop across the road to buy water etc. Shower over the bath. Has WiFi. Nice pool area and terrace balcony.

Good hotel with 20 metre pool. However our experience was really minimised by the continual negotiation to be able to pay by credit card. Prior to buying everything we asked if credit payment was ok, then the inevitable argument post transaction that only cash payments were possible 😡😡😡

While certainly not the worst place I have ever stayed, it definitely doesn't live up to it's billing. Staff are solid and appreciative, with a hotel that has a real nice old design and retro 60s ambience that is charming. However, when looking closer there are some things that definitely need improving. While WIFI is spotty, the fixtures in the bathroom were definitely in need of work. Our sink had no water pressure whatsoever. Flushing toilets? Like a slot machine when they worked properly. As another reviewer commented, the place caters to bus tour groups. If you manage to be in the dining hall when they all arrive it will be deafening. One person referred to it as a zoo. The food is average, with some minor highlights, and is at least containing local produce. However, the lack of fresh squeezed orange juice is a real surprise. Strangely also when we returned to our room in the evening, the floor was full of dirty foot prints and was far filthier than we even left it! Why? I have no idea... Also staff routinely smoke in the lobby (usually in the late morning when all the tour groups have left for the day). One of them is no doubt an owner of the place. Rooms are comfortable at least, but you wont be getting anywhere near a 4 star experience here whatsoever.

Very disappointing almost in every way. First of all, the staff at the check-in is not only incompetent but also very rude. I had to run up and down three times and pay additional 700 dirham before I was able to get my room. Specifically, he first gave me a smoking room, after I requested a non-smoking one, he sent me to a room that was still occupied by the guests. Then, he assigned me a third room which was smelly, moldy and cramped. It was obvious that the room had not been occupied for a long time. I asked for a different room. He refused and said that room was what I paid for. When I told him I saw a room on the same floor that was being cleaned but almost ready, and I would like to take that room, he almost got angry and said I had to pay additional 700 dirham to have the room. I was tired and did not wish to deal with him further, so I simply paid what he asked for. Next day, I went to the front desk and asked if he could break a large bill, he said no, in a very cold and unfriendly tone. The only positive thing about this hotel is the location.
