Riad Sidrat was an absolutely fantastic stay in Fes and the nicest place we stayed at during a week in Morocco, for great value. The staff is so friendly/helpful/hospitable and the interior is stunningly beautiful. Our laundry was done perfectly (including folded and packed in our packing cubes) by the time we came back in the afternoon, also at a good price. Comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Their restaurant recommendation was amongst the top we’ve had in Morocco. After learning that the ceramic factory and tannery we visited (via a separately booked tour) are not government cooperatives (duh, the prices weren’t fixed), I would recommend booking tours through Riad Sidrat.

The manager was VERY rude and screamed at our driver/guide. We could overhear they whole conversation as he talked to her just to get directions to get to the riad. She was very condescending and so we decided not to give our business to this riad even though we were already confirmed and paid in full. The manager of this riad had no right to talk down to our guide who was being professional and polite.

Absolutely amazing Riad. Centrally located between the two main streets, making it very convenient to tour the Medina. Stayed there 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The place is truly beautiful and the staff is so welcoming and polite. They also serve a huge breakfast every morning. The rooms are like in the movies. And the courtyards so beautiful. I strongly recommend it.

From the recommended parking lot, it wasn't that hard to find. When you arrive, you must push the call button on the wall to enter. The inside is beautiful. Very impressive. The AC worked perfectly. The room was large and spacious. Breakfast was large and offered a good variety. They even arranged a tour of the madina, which I highly recommend adding to your stay. It was affordable, and we saw a ton that we would have never known existed without it. Hospitality was top-notch. Very deserving of a Travelers Choice award.

It’s hard to emphasis how great this riad was. Mohamed and Miriam were outstanding as hosts. They gave us the best suggestions for food. Everyone it was great. Breakfast was excellent!! Probably the best we had so far. The rooms were clean and beautiful. Whatever we needed, if they didn’t have an answer they found it in minutes and we never had to remind them. For example: I needed some clothing laundered. They don’t do it but they took the bag somewhere and for a VERY reasonable price I had my clothing the next day. They suggested great guides, gave great directions and were always there for us. Beyond excellent

Absolutely beautiful home which has been wonderfully restored. Felt as though I was staying in a private wing of a small palace. Very easy to locate within the Medina. Miriam and her staff were so nice and such pleasant hosts. I had one of their smaller rooms, as it was just me, but it was quite cozy and comfortable. Plenty of hot water & very quiet at night. Breakfast was a grand display each morning. This is a place that you’ll want to return to..

A hidden gem in the heart of the Medina. We had 2 rooms here. (We were a family of 4). We slept great. The staff was very kind. The place is stunning. Showers were great. Just know there is no traditional “bar area” or a place to purchase a soda or a cup of coffee. They do serve breakfast (which was delicious) and dinner can be arranged. We loved our stay here. Great location in the heart of Medina. Beautiful rooms (1st floor and of course no lift). Amazing terrace that unfortunately it is not used for serving breakfast or tea. He internal patio is pretty noisy especially because there is the kitchen there and femmes de menage tend to speak loudly. Discount of 3% if you pay by cash. They can arrange you pick ups or taxi or daily trips however without giving you detailed info (daily trip with how many other people from other riadattato? Departure and come back time?) and always by paying cash in euro - it would have been nice to share a taxi to the airport as other couples were heading there at the same time. Kindness would really improve the hosting experience.
