What a beautiful oasis of calm to come back to after a long day walking. It is centrally located in the Medina as so equal distance to the main attractions. The building itself is magnificent, amazing history & design.We spent a few afternoons relaxing in the shade on the rooftop, which was perfect. But the biggest highlight are the staff who were very helpful and friendly. Thankfully they all spoke English, which was much appreciated.

My stay at Riad Dar Bensouda in Fes was an experience I will cherish forever, and a huge part of that was the unparalleled hospitality of every single member of their incredible team. From the moment Yaseen ياسين, Yazied يزيد and Abdelaziz عبدالعزيز welcomed me at the reception with warm smiles and genuine care, I knew I was in for something special. They were always available, ready to assist with any request and offered invaluable advice on navigating the fascinating labyrinth of the Fes medina. The riad itself is a breathtaking masterpiece of traditional Moroccan architecture. Every corner tells a story, with intricate Zellij tilework, stunning carved cedarwood, and peaceful courtyards that transport you to another world. It truly felt like stepping into a living museum, yet with all the modern comforts one could desire. Dining at Dar Bensouda was an absolute delight. Ibrahim إبراهيم and Mohammed محمد, the servers, were attentive, friendly, and made every meal a pleasure. Their warm service and genuine smiles added so much to the experience. And the food! Oh, the food! The ladies in the kitchen are true culinary artists. Each dish was a flavorful journey, showcasing the best of Moroccan cuisine with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I especially looked forward to breakfast each morning – a feast fit for royalty! The Hammam experience was another highlight of my stay. Donia دُنيا created a truly relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere. Their expertise and gentle care made the traditional Hammam ritual feel both authentic and luxurious. I left feeling completely refreshed and renewed. Every single person at Riad Dar Bensouda contributed to making my stay unforgettable. Their genuine warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail are truly what set this riad apart. It wasn't just a place to stay; it was an immersive cultural experience where I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. I wholeheartedly give Riad Dar Bensouda a 5-star rating and cannot wait for the opportunity to return. If you are looking for an authentic and exceptional experience in Fes, look no further!

We visited the hotel in March and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a calm and relaxing atmosphere, we especially enjoyed the rooftop that had plenty of space to relax in the afternoon sun with amazing views of Fes. The breakfast was great and done in a traditional Moroccan style. The staff were incredibly helpful when they realised I had left an iPad in the room upon leaving. They were easy to liaise with to organise for it to be posted back to the UK

It was an absolute pleasure spending our final days at the Riad. The entire team was so warm and welcoming, instantly making us feel at home. Hamza and Assis stood out in particular, going above and beyond to make our stay truly special. À la prochaine fois!

Great stay. Felt really safe - the full team of staff were friendly, helpful, and generous. Kept us well informed of best local restaurants and day trip. Always greeted us with tea and biscuits after a day out. Clean rooms. Delicious food. Relaxing massage and Hammam. Remembered our favourite components at breakfast and brought extra of those the next day. Cosy fireplace. Stunning roof terrace - photos can’t do it justice. Great value. Thank you!
