From the time we arrived outside the Medina, the staff treated us like family. Ayoub took care of every detail and saw to all of our needs. The hotel itself is just lovely, with a beautiful and relaxing rooftop where we had a fabulous daily breakfast prepared by Fatima and Meryem. They also went out of their way to reheat leftovers for us that we had from some delicious lunchtime meals, as well as a specially prepared feast on our last night! The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious and decorated in beautiful Moroccan fashion. We really enjoyed our time in Fez.

Dar 7 Louyat is a truly special place. The riad is stunning, full of history and charm, and perfectly located in the medina. We felt warmly welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and made with love. We left feeling relaxed, inspired, and deeply grateful. Highly recommended!

My friend and I stayed here the 3 nights we were in Fez. In all we stayed in 4 different riads in Morocco. This riad was lovely, the decor on the ground floor is absolutely beautiful. It’s on the smaller side compared to other places we stayed, and a little less polished in general, but it was great for us. It was extremely quiet, in fact, we were the only guests, which I don’t understand as it is a lovely place, but Fes was kind of quiet. When we got there, they offered us a room directly off reception, but we wanted more privacy so they gave us a room upstairs. The beds were the most comfortable of the trip, there was hot water and the plumbing worked. Lol. We got great service and 1 evening had dinner there, a delicious lamb tajine. Note: you need to let them know by 4PM if you want dinner, but though we didn’t do that they accommodated us with a small delicious meal when we checked in. Every morning we enjoyed our breakfast on their remarkable rooftop terrace. The setting and the food was the best breakfast we had for the entire trip. I miss it every day! As others mentioned, the last few alleys leading to the riad are isolated and not for everyone, but we were fine. I’d stay again!

My family of 4 (two kids) had a lovely stay at this property! The accommodation is beautiful and the staff is very warm and helpful. They arranged a day trip for us to Meknes and Volubilis, and amended our breakfast based on what our kids preferred. Highly recommend the stay. Be prepared for a walk to the riad that involves a number of small alleys that might seem creepy at first but you get used to it quickly.

Hidden gem - would definitely recommend! Absolutely amazing experience. Riad is beautiful with the most intricate traditional moroccan tiling and wood carving. Hotel staff are so friendly and helpful, happy to walk/drive us to and from any location required, loads of great suggestions of things to do in the area based on our interests, and made our stay feel incredibly safe in Fez giving us advice on how to find our way round the labyrinth of streets in the city. Nothing we asked was too much. Also because its a hidden gem we were the only people who were there only people staying throughout our 3 day stay - meaning each evening we had the whole place to ourselves, including the amazing view from the rooftop terrace. You can choose to eat dinner there, they will ask for your requirements earlier in the day so they can buy fresh local ingredients just for you. Also dinner is served in the central courtyard of the riad and we were waited on hand and foot. On our final morning we needed to leave early to get out train and so they provided us with a packed breakfast and hotel staff drove us to the train station. Absolutely would recommend and hope to return soon! Shout out to Ayoub and our personal chef - made the stay absolutely unforgettable!
