Stayed 2 nights with family. The view was nice, though another building was in front of us, we could see both sea and city side scenery. Breakfast was nice, we could enjoy various food. Kids also enjoyed. Hotel staffs are very nice and friendly. Especially Owen helped us to stay comfortable.

MGM as expected. I visited with my girlfriend because it was an anniversary. After check in, the manager brought the fruit and cake to my room and brought the fruit back in the evening.
The staff service is good, and they are always smiling. We had a really good time.. See you next time.

All good except the staff is unwilling to assist in booking taxi, as the app requires Wechat pay, but we don't have. We ask the staff to help in booking, the staff insisted that they cannot have monetary involvement with guest. While I recognize the importance of following the rules, however it must see what kind of thing to follow. I don't think assist guest in taxi booking is a big big problem.

This was my first stay at the hotel, and I have to say that overall the hotel was great! The location is very convenient to many tourist attractions. There is a subway right next to the hotel. It’s just 11 minutes by the subway to get to the Qingdao railway station. The hotel is clean, all the towels are disinfected. The breakfast had a big assortment of dishes both from western and Chinese cuisine. And every evening the hotel treated with snacks such as cookies, fruits or yogurt. There is also free coffee in the lobby. Highly recommended!

The location of this hotel might be convenient for business travelers, but it’s not ideal for tourists. I found myself having to take taxis everywhere, though fortunately, they’re inexpensive in Qingdao. The rooms are spacious and generally clean, with a comfortable bed, but the bathroom felt a bit outdated. Breakfast was just average, nothing to get excited about.
Although the hotel is listed as 5 stars, it felt more like a 4-star experience. All the rooms face the streets, which can be noisy – I had to switch rooms because of this. However, my second room was a bit quieter.
The staff were all very kind, especially the cleaning ladies who were always smiling and helpful.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay, but I probably wouldn’t choose this

Perfect
RRene Leonard MendozaAtour Hotel at Zhenhua deserves the constant positive rating they get from their volume of customers.
The hotel is quite accessible from Qingdao North Railway Station, which is about 2 kilometers away. They also have sufficient space at the back of their building for parking.
The lobby is bright, and the personnel were warm with their welcome. Upon arrival, I was immediately offered tea and was assisted with my check-in. Despite some challenges with communication, I can attest to their efforts in providing services to the best of their abilities (I can speak some Mandarin so I was able to engage with them for a bit).
My room in the 5th floor was spacious, and the essentials were readily available, from hair dryers, clothes hangers, mini-fridge, et cetera.
I did enjoy their mix of Chinese and Western breakfast, especially with the variety of simple choices that cater to my palate.
The second floor also holds their small gym for those who needed to train and exercise, as well as their laundry area with plenty of washing machines.
Because I just came from a trip to Beijing and Universal Studios, my luggage was quite full with items I bought for my family. One of their personnel, Miss Hong (虹朵/Hong Duo), took the effort to assist me in booking a Kuaidi (delivery service) to send my items to my home city, Kunming.
For those who plan to travel around, the subway (Line 3 - Yongping Road) is about a hundred meters away only, allowing you access to many tourist spots in the city like the May 4th Square.
Overall, it was a very positive experience to stay in this hotel that has satisfactorily met all my needs in my brief stay in Qingdao. 😊

GGuest UserWe booked the family suite which has a little door to separate the space - which is great for privacy or extra sound proofing. The staff service is great. The location is a little out of the way from main attractions but the area has plenty of amenities such as convenience stores and even a massage place next door. There’s free tea and coffee at the lobby. The free porridge runs out pretty quickly so go early. Will book here again if I’m in the area.

GGuest UserThis time I chose to stay at Qingdao Shangmei Mövenpick Hotel. The hotel is not far from the commercial district and has a good environment. I came to Huangdao with my partner and stayed at this hotel. I was surprised that the service here was very good. It was cold on the day of check-in, so the air conditioner was turned on in advance. Thanks to the front desk ladies Wendy and Lucy for their enthusiastic introduction to the use of room facilities and equipment. Check-in and check-out were also handled efficiently and professionally. The buffet also suited my taste, which was great! I will stay at this hotel again when I come to Huangdao next time!

WwielandSuper friendly staff, excellent locatio, metro station in front if the hotel. No free bus shuttle to the airport, for a 5* rated hotel at this price rooms are so, so, had been at wydham the night before lower price better room quality.

KkonnektA great location to stay. Many places to visit are closer to the hotel. And it feels like home. The surrounding is quiet at night. Or even peaceful.
But many things are shown that it has been renewed somewhat while ago. You can see wear and tear. The tv in the room doesn’t support 4K. I felt like I moved back to the 20th century.
The crews of the hotel are helpful and showed me hospitality.
So do I have a plan to sleep there again? It’s complicated.

VValerieLarusseIt’s an old fashioned hotel, clean and cozy. The location is perfect for visiting May 4th square and for walking around the beach line. Overall it’s a good place for staying in Qingdao. P.S. We didn’t really understand why we had to ask to change our bedsheets when they are supposed to be changed every night. During our stay they changed once and on our request (but didn’t change the pillow cases IDK why lol 😆) so this part was a bit confusing TBH.

GGuest UserWe were upgraded to a sea view room for free, and there was capsule coffee. The balcony was a sea view, and it was very comfortable to take a nap facing the sea or drink a cup of coffee. The hotel also has a small garden where you can take a walk, and the gym is particularly well received. This is a rare hotel gym with a bench press. The only drawback is that the area is relatively deserted and it is difficult to get a taxi.
