The inn is located in the ancient city of Jianshui, very close to the Zhujia Garden, Jianshui Confucian Temple, and the Academic and Political Examination Shed. Online taxis can be picked up and dropped off directly at the door of the inn. The inn also provides electric bicycles, tricycles, and car rentals. The family room we booked has one 1.8-meter large bed and two 1.35-meter beds, which can accommodate 3-4 people. The room is clean and tidy, and the room rate includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and a free pottery making experience. The service at the inn is very considerate. Each room has an introduction to Jianshui tourist attractions and guides on where to eat, live and play. All in all, the price/performance ratio is good and I recommend staying there!

The hotel is very distinctive, ancient and well-designed, and the food service is excellent. The hotel also has its own stage, and there are intangible cultural performances during festivals. The only drawback is the air conditioning. I booked two rooms during the Spring Festival, and the temperature suddenly dropped. The air conditioning in both rooms had problems at first. One room was fixed, but the other room was fixed and the heating was poor. It was cold all night. Maybe Yunnan rarely needs heating air conditioning, and it is not often encountered. I remind the hotel to adjust the air conditioning in each room in advance before the temperature drops next time. The hotel is still highly recommended!

This was my second stay at the White hotel in Jianshui. The check in process is almost instantaneous, and the very friendly woman at the desk can speak English. The rooms are very spacious, extremely clean, very well appointed, and there is really nothing to be improved on. I would certainly recommend this place for others to stay. It is an easy walk into any part of the ancient town as it centrally located. Great place to stay. If I go back to genuine Shui for my fourth trip, I will certainly stay there again.  There is underground parking a one minute walk from the hotel and guests park for free. This is a really huge benefit in the ancient town of Janish way.

Just arrived at Jianshui Ancient City, before we started to visit the attractions, the hotel gave us a surprise 😄 The whole hotel is in Chinese courtyard style, with an ancient flavor. The room is equipped with a tea room and a small courtyard. The location is in the center of the ancient city, but it is very quiet, and it feels like a paradise 😌
The downside is that the facilities are a bit old, there is no extension in the room, and you need to use your mobile phone to call the front desk, which is a bit inconvenient.

During this trip to Jianshui, I was deeply impressed by Jianshui Mushang Hotel (Zitao Street Branch). The room is decorated very carefully, it is clean and bright, the furniture is neatly arranged, and the lighting and ventilation are good. The hotel enjoys a unique location, right next to Purple Pottery Street. Just a few minutes' walk away, you can taste special foods such as grilled tofu and cold noodles, and also select exquisite purple pottery handicrafts. The room rate includes not only breakfast but also lunch, giving travelers more choices. Returning to the hotel at night, the quiet and comfortable environment makes people relax quickly. This stay was a great experience, with great value for money.

The location of the inn is quite good, at the corner of the street but quite quiet and comfortable. Nearby is Jianshui Small Train Lin'an Station, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to Chaoyang Building, which is quite convenient. Not far from the door, there are all kinds of early, cooked fruits and other delicious, and the atmosphere of life is very good. There is a tea table in the room to make tea, there is a small landscape alone, and the disposable accessories are well equipped, that is, the bathroom is not separated from wet and dry. GGuest UserLooking at the online evaluation, I chose Fanqi B&B. On the morning of submitting the order, I received a call from the store to inform the nearby parking lot. I arrived at the B&B that night. The small door face entered the house but there was no cave. The quadruple courtyard has a history of 100 years. The store was very enthusiastic and upgraded the room for us and introduced the historical story of the small courtyard, and provided us with attractions and food guides for visiting Jianshui. The room and bathroom are also very clean, the hot water temperature is also very high, and the breakfast is very rich. Provided according to our requirements, The homestay also provides free Hanfu for taking pictures and barbecue. There are not many tourists traveling on the staggered peaks and found the feeling of home in Fanqi, which made us start a pleasant journey.

GGuest UserI did a lot of research before choosing Qianyu B&B, but it was only after I actually stayed there that I understood the significance of a B&B. The proprietress is a native of Jianshui. Not only does her Jianshui tofu taste first-rate, she also goes out of her way to prepare cold medicine and buy strawberries for guests. When she saw that I was on a tight schedule and hadn’t bought a meter-gauge train ticket in advance, she rode her bike to the station to buy it for me. She always knew exactly where to eat and where to have fun, and it made me feel proud to bring my parents out for an outing! I came and left in a hurry, and ended up forgetting my camera at the B&B. I had already taken the highway to Yuanyang to catch the sunset at the rice terraces, so I anxiously called the proprietress. She calmly told me to go to the next stop without delaying the trip. Finally, she asked someone to take it to Yuanyang for me and retrieved it smoothly without any delay. During the eight-day self-driving trip in southeastern Yunnan, Yunnan Red River really felt like returning home.

GGuest UserI fell in love with the hotel at first glance and was pleasantly surprised when I went there. It is a renovated traditional old building with three entrances to the courtyard. The design is exquisite and antique. I booked a twin room. The room was very large and comfortable to sleep on. The public space is large, and the boss is happy to chat and drink tea with the guests. The landlady and a sister are very nice. The breakfast is delicious. The carefully cooked red date porridge and red rice noodles are more delicious and cleaner than those on the street. Plan to come again if I have the chance.

The boss was very enthusiastic and cheerful. He was an open-minded person. He arrived early and welcomed me. He upgraded me to a king-size bed room in the old house and recommended many delicious local restaurants.
The location of the B&B is superb. Many scenic spots are within walking distance. Once you open the door of the B&B, you will see a different world. It is very beautiful. It is obviously decorated and designed with care. The lighting is also great.
The room is really good value for money! Neatness and cleanliness are the basics. The key point is that the bathroom takes care of the hygiene habits of different ethnic groups. This is not considered by most five-star hotels in China, let alone B&Bs. It is so considerate!
This is my first time staying in a B&B and I haven’t even left yet. I want to come back next time. It’s really great. It’s also the first time I recommend it so highly! I hope everyone will come to Jianshui. It’s really delicious and fun to stay here. Comfortable!

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a beautiful old mansion, and we really enjoyed our stay there. The inner courtyard especially was gorgeous, with blooming flowers in January. It's located right in the center of the old town, next to one of the main attractions, the Zhu Family Garden. It's very quiet and cosy. The mattress was nice and firm, and there was lots of hot water with good pressure in the bathroom. The owner was kind enough to upgrade us to a huge room with a living room, which we loved! Would definitely stay here again.

Maybe I suddenly felt dizzy and couldn't walk, so I had to lie down at night to get better. So now I don't remember it deeply. Anyway, it's quite big and comfortable. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. The sink countertop can hold a lot of bottles and cans. I found that the conditions of hotels and inns in Yunnan are good, better than those in Chengdu and western Sichuan. Toiletries, slippers and hair dryers are all available. There are many sockets in the room. The toilets are relatively clean whether they are in scenic spots, public toilets or small restaurants. The grass sprout rice noodles in the morning are also delicious, and the lotus root powder is also delicious. The ancient city is quite good to visit. I also took the Jianshui train the next day. It was really interesting. The steamed chicken, grass sprout meat slices, grilled tofu, and porcini mushrooms of Fujian cuisine are all delicious. The peanut soup with cramps is also good. I also ordered osmanthus and red dates drink. There was too much soup and water and I couldn't drink it, but because I liked it very much, I packed it back to the hotel.
