Motel 707 ★★★

📍 17 Ruby St, Emerald

"We stayed in a basic $99 room with free breakfast and it was great. We heard traffic/truck noise till about 9pm then again at 6am which didn’t bother us. The room was basic, no plates, no face washers, just a block of soap and a towel, a microwave and tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast was ample to get us started. The shower is awesome, enjoy the pressure! We would stay here again, the wifi is super fast."

Dooley's Tavern & Motel Springsure Hotel di Emerald

Dooley's Tavern & Motel Springsure

"A sensational stay at Dooley’s Springsure. While in town to attend the wonderful community St Patrick’s Race Day, we chose Dooleys for our stay. The food, the atmosphere, the friendly staff and the true country meets Irish hospitality is second to none, not just in Springsure but the entire region. Rooms are very clean, comfortable, functional and spacious. Did I mention the food? 🙌🏻 Hearty pub food that’s interesting, quality ingredients and made with love. ❤️ It’s not an easy feat to get all the ingredients right in a pub and this one is quality. Make the detour on your next western QLD adventure."

Direct Collective - Villas on Rivergum Hotel di Emerald

Direct Collective - Villas on Rivergum

"There was no faulting the accommodation. We had a wonderful two bedroom, two bathroom unit with a comfortable lounge / dining area and a kitchen with everything you would need to prepare your own meals. We even had our own lock-up garage. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the shower amazing. The tap water did smell of chlorine, so we opted to use bottled water for drinking. The only negatives were the distance of the apartment from town and that it was located next to the water treatment plant. For a one night stay I would be unlikely to stay here again, but if I found myself in Emerald for more than a couple of nights, this would be the perfect place."

Capella Coach Inn Hotel di Emerald

Capella Coach Inn

"Capella Coach Inn was the perfect stay for our large family group – 15 rooms – for our son’s wedding on his wife’s family’s farm. Our group stayed for up to four nights and everyone was very happy with their rooms. A huge thankyou to Kim, and also Chelsea, for your patience over the phone, over many months, and finally in person to organise the most suitable rooms to meet our guests’ different needs. For those with some mobility issues, Kym ensured they had walk-in showers and ground floor rooms while other guests enjoyed the very large baths. The spacious rooms were very clean. Our large group also enjoyed the free continental breakfasts in the communal dining room and the chance to catch up in an air-conditioned space during the very warm days. And it was a short stroll to the Capella Hotel."

Emerald Central Hotel Official ★★★
"Not too impressed. Check-in was easy and friendly, but the place is aged, tatty and overdue for some love - or a big renovation. Pool and restaurant were out of order, though it was located close to places in town to find a meal or breakfast. Our room was passable but we heard every word of our loud neighbour through the thin connecting door, and every move of someone else upstairs. Bed was sagged in the middle and no extra pillows were available either. Bedside tables were absent and there was only harsh fluoro lighting. And the kettle wouldn’t fit under the sink spout to fill it. Not going back there."

Motel 707 ★★★
"Room here is very, very basic, but the location is excellent, right in the centre of town, easy walk to multiple pubs, restaurants, shopping, cafes. Room and bathroom were clean. Fridge, microwave, tea and coffee with kettle. Off street parking in front of room. Shower had good hot water and pressure. Can't get water bottles under tap to refill, but cups available. Bed was comfortable, it's quiet and good sleep. Breakfast included and delivered to room, just the right size. Ok for one night when travelling. Would stay again. "

"Honest motel for the tariff. Clean and surprisingly quiet. Could have heard a pin drop all night. Doggies welcome. Close to everything in town. We walked up two blocks for Chinese food. Bed was on the firm side but not uncomfortable. We’d stay there again."

"What can I say, this place is quiet clean and seems to be newly built or not that old. We got the studio with a kitchen and that worked really well for us with cooking breakfast. Quick and easy check in and check out. We would stay here again if we came through again."
