Ulasan Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh West End

For a Hilton brand, room amenities are so poor. It is very disappointing to hear you have to pay extra £2.50 just for a shaving blade. Location is good but parking fee is overpriced. Room is ok, amenities are not enough. Reception service varies and some are inexperienced or have little customer care. Breakfast was great actually. I was surprised to have Haggis at breakfast!

The hotel is both clean and accommodating. The rooms are modern and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast was actually above par, (a few hotels lately produce much lower quality in comparison) and the haggis was quite tasty too. The location is perfect for reaching the town centre on foot, (around 10-20 minutes depending on how fast you walk). We had parking available upon ringing at the intercom and then verifying our booking via last name. My only real issue was the price of the parking, (£16 for 24 hours, £48 for three days for myself) however with that said, trying to park within the town centre will be very tough, and quite costly as you'll likely have "2 hours no return" etc. So the £16 per day actually balances out and you have zero to worry about in regards your car, (the parking area is also gated). So although pricey, I'd say after experiencing Edinburgh myself, that it's actually not to bad. Oh, and please update the fitness room as it's lacking some vital equipment. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this hotel. Key points: The location is great for the visit to Edinburgh Town Centre, Train Station, it's many cafes/restaurants and various other activities that you might want to do.

Everything was very nice! The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly! The breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety!

Eggs stewed tomatoes beans haggis rashers... A proper breakfast is included. Yes there more option. The room is nice and the location is good. Haymarket is a block away but most places are walkable

Stayed in Hampton a few times. Always loved it, hassle free, good breakfast, nice interiors, options for a later check-out and an earlier check-in are also a plus.

Rediculous. Due to the storm Eowyn, we had to book another day, and the clerk said that we needn't check out as long as we inform the reception. However, when we informed the reception after booking, there was an another said: you need to check out before 11:00am and check in again at 3:00pm, it is the policy..

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to many places. The breakfast was simple but sufficient. The staff were friendly, and the room size was reasonable. Overall, a solid choice for a comfortable stay. no

Location is quite far from main tourist spot. But everything is perfect and recommend it.

It is walkable distance from the castle.

Asked for non allergenic bedding which was provided, however one of the pillows was still feather down which I was not aware of until leaving ( as it was my partners pillow) Was very allergic with itchy eyes and sneezing. Which only developed after being in the room. Bit difficult to work the heating system. Other factors were adequate. Housekeeping staff are very attentive. Breakfast lacked more vegetarian options for the hot breakfast such as mushrooms, vegetarian sausages.

Nice hotel in a good area. Easy 15min walk and you're in the old town. Just maybe 25min to the Royal Mile. I would come back. Thanks for the great time.
