My partner Dan booked Just b for my 50th birthday and can I say what a wonderful surprise it was, we were made to feel welcome by Karo and Geff. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable, and the bed was so comfy as well. The breakfast is amazing as was the surroundings you ate it in. What a wonderful peaceful place to stay, run by a wonderful kind couple. I would highly recommend this b&b and we are definitely coming back to stay.

Charming quiet retreat on the outskirts of Edinburgh, a 25-minute bus ride into city. Bus stop very close by. Geoff and Karo could not have been kinder and Karo’s variety of breakfast offerings very gourmet and lovingly prepared. Rooms fresh and well appointed.

I can only give this b&b 5 stars. It deserves so many more. We booked 3 night's here and it would have been wonderful to stay longer. Why? Because we were made to feel so welcome by hosts Jeff and Karo. They were both at the door to meet us and show us to our lovely room - the Sean Connery Suite. It was light, bright and sizeable with a king size bed and comfortable sofa. There was a selection of teas and ground coffee in our room and Karo provided cow milk (oat was also available) in a fridge just outside our bedroom door. Everything was so clean and fresh. The whole place was so relaxing - we slept like the proverbial logs each night Breakfast was an absolute delight. Fruit juice and granola with yoghurt beautifully decorated with fruits were provided automatically then it's a choice of hot breakfasts which were really healthy. We had the vegetarian haggis with poached egg on two days. Delicious. When the gas was turned off by the gas board on day two we were provided with a choice of breads and cheeses, humous, fresh fruit salad, crackers, scones and jam. There was even clotted cream! Afternoon tea for breakfast! Jeff and Karo did a wonderful job of making sure we still had a decent breakfast despite the lack of cooking facilities. Vegan and vegetarian options are definitely not a problem. JustB is a 6-7 minute walk from the bus stop into Edinburgh. And it costs just £2 one way into Edinburgh 8 miles away. Fabulous value. And for less than £5 one can purchase a day ticket to travel anywhere all day! Buses run ever 10 minutes or so - 20 minutes in the evening. But the stars of this place are the owners. They are lovely, helpful people who made us feel welcome in their home.

What a fantastic stay at JustB whist visiting the wonderful city of Edinburgh! Karen and Geoff were wonderful hosts and Karen is a fascinating lady to talk to. She also gave us lots of useful information about the local areas and places to visit. A bus ride into the city is super easy from this location with buses running every 10 minutes and taking you straight into the city centre. It was a 20-30 minute journey with lots to look at from the windows during the journey. I think my favourite part of staying at JustB was the amazing breakfasts in the beautiful breakfast room. Overlooking the beautifully lit garden and trees whilst sitting in comfort with the log burner crackling, relaxing music, surrounded by plants and greenery. Karen cooks the breakfast and Geoff is a very attentive host. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at JustB. It’s in a great location and far enough from the city to offer peacefulness… and I’m super fussy about darkness, peace and quiet when it comes to sleeping. I would not hesitate to stay here again. I called for confirmation/directions as I had just booked via ***********. She told me "not to bother" coming as my booking is not valid through *********** as "They just take money from us", and it was not valid unless we went through their own website- I asked re a refund to be told .... you need to see *********** about that, the nail in the coffin was she said I cant do anything for you - it's your booking habits that got you here YOU need to sort it out...oh how the mask slips in peoples' hospitality when things don't gp their way
