Excellent location Big room Nice and cosy Remarkable breakfast

location is A+. 2 minuite walk to the Heinrich underground station which takes you straight to the Messe. Hotel is nice. strange layout but its a medieval building so its part of the charm. Front desk leaves much to desire for a 5 star hotel. the room is ok. was given room 131. mattress was collapsed and definitely not commercial 5 star hotel standard.felt more of a foam cushion than a mattress with just 10 cm height of cushioning. i am 1.87 mtrs height and 110kgs. the mattress went concave when i lied down and my upper back muscles namely rhomboids and lats felt it badly in the morning. Advised the front desk who replied nothing can be done because all mattresses are like that. i don't insist or complain further if i am refused or rejected the first time i ask. on my checkout i advised front desk whose manager was present and i advised i was very happy with location but not with bed. i had no reply from her and she moved away stating in awe that no one had such an issue. on a positive note the breakfast operators who were very attentive and courteous at all times. for 950 euros for 3 nights i think they are very lacking in not being able to provide the basic hotel service of a good nights rest.

Tired old hotel , cold check in and there was no blind in our room curtain They moved us to another room but there was no water or basic amenities, even the telephone is out of order I didn’t see any value with the money we have paid even breakfast was an average I would return back even for free

Hotel is centraal gelegen, auto parkeerservice prima en zeker niet duur. Service aan de balie was minder, medewerker was erg ongeïnteresseerd en vertelde dat wij inclusief ontbijt hadden, wat helemaal niet het geval was. De kamer was prima, alleen veel spiegels. De douche sloot niet goed, zodat we bijna alle handdoeken op de grond moesten leggen. En er was te weinig licht op de badkamer. We hebben niet gegeten in het hotel, dus daar kunnen we niets over zeggen.

跟博物館似的 很有歷史感

Bed was uncomfortable with a single pillow that was paper thin. Room was also really hot and could not get AC to work or open the window. The hotel is nice with excellent breakfast and nice staff but the bed was really bad

Beautifully appointed hotel in historic setting. Close to Alt Stadt, opera, Rhein, ... Excellent if pricey breakfast.

The De Medici Hotel is extraordinary with a fabulous historic art and sculptures thoroughout the historic building. The room well decorated like a fine home. The food and drink are terrific as is the staff. Willan, Janna and Micheal in paticular treat every guess as royalty with the perfect blend of attentiveness charm and humor. I highly recommended this hotel for your next stay in Dusseldorf.

We really enjoyed our stay there. The breakfast was great but it was quite expensive.

What a great place. Beautiful like a museum. Nice staff, spotless, clean, well maintained. Helpful staff. Then add in that it is so central to Alstadt, Shopping, the Christmas markets, great restaurants. Very reasonable. Huge, beautiful room. Great gym.
