Ulasan STARWAY Hotel (Nanqiao Dujiangyan scenic spot)

We arrived in Du Jiang Yan 都江堰 in the evening via the Intercity Bullet Train (城际高铁) from Chengdu city centre and found the famous giant panda selfie statue at 仰天窝广场 right outside the train station exit. From there, it was just an 8-minute walk to the hotel. The hotel is also conveniently located near Tian Fu Yuan Bridge (天府源), just a 2 minute walk away. This popular spot is well-known for observing the Blue Tears (蓝眼泪) phenomenon. Additionally, the area is filled with restaurants and street food stalls, making meals and snacks easily accessible at any time. In terms of cleanliness, the overall standard was acceptable for a comfortable stay. The common areas and rooms were maintained reasonably well, meeting basic expectations. The hotel staffs were polite and attentive. One minor drawback was the lack of a universal plug adapter, which we had forgotten to bring. However, the room’s USB-compatible wall sockets allowed us to charge our phones without any issues. Overall, the hotel provides convenient accessibility, nearby attractions, and dining options, contributing to a pleasant stay. While some small improvements could be made, the experience was enjoyable.

Very good location. Situated in the Ancient Town. Walkable to the Irrigation System. Near to the MTR tram to Mt Qingcheng and the Panda Valley. Lots of eateries around. Hotel has self service laundry. Rooms are large and relatively clean. Breakfast is a simple Chinese breakfast. Very near to the river which when lighted at night looks blue.

Clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Fantastic location in the middle of the ancient town. Good price. Bathroom was nice as well.

Bad service, not very helpful at all. Staffs are not willing to help with anything. Staffs could not communicate in English at all, not a single word, and would not even try to use any language translation tools. We tried to ask them to speak into our Google translate, but they just refused. Unless you can speak fluent Mandarin, please go with other hotels.

This hotel is very close to Blue Bridge and Du Jiang Yan Scenic Spot, about 7-10 mins walking. The hotel is clean and the front desk employees are very friendly.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, only 8 minutes away from Lidui Park Station. It is more convenient to see the Blue Tears, and next to it is the best location of Tianfuyuan. The hotel front desk staff was very friendly and always smiled and greeted us. We stayed for two days and it was very comfortable. Because my wife had a cold and wanted to stay in the hotel to rest for a while, the front desk allowed us to check out later, which was very good. The service attitude was very good and it is worth recommending to everyone to stay.

I went there around 3pm on the 26th. The front desk lady was very patient and provided good service. The price for the off-season is really a good deal. I am quite satisfied with the clean beds and the good location. It is not far from the South Bridge and the entrance to the Dujiangyan Scenic Area.

Starway Hotel is located in the ancient city, very close to Nanqiao and surrounding attractions. There are many restaurants and shops near the hotel, which will not make tourists bored. The hotel does not look impressive from the outside, and the front desk on the first floor is relatively simple, but the staff are very familiar with the surrounding tourist information. Arriving at the accommodation floor, you will feel refreshed. The decoration is simple and fresh, the room is clean and spacious, and the breakfast is rich and diverse. It is definitely a cost-effective hotel. Highly recommended! ! ! ! !
