Scandic Asker

Stayed one night in the hotel, the room was functional and my single bed was very comfortable. The beer was very expensive but it is everywhere in Norway! Breakfast was perfect with lots of food choices

Clean hotel with very friendly staff at the reception and at the breakfast and the chef is really friendly as well. They are always very accommodating to your requests.

My Experience was disappointing, stayed for 2 nights, first night given a room without Hot water, the phones in the room did not work, very small single bed, no alternative room available. second night, was provided with a separate room , on opposite side of hotel so I could have a warm shower, but the room wasn't much better.

Rooms are constantly dirty, towels not changed for days, half of the lamps don’t work in the room, door to the room/lock don’t work, have to throw our own rubbish, management does not react on staff & guest comments about housekeeping mistakes. F&B Very good👍

If you visit Asker for business this is the obvious choice. Excellent breakfast and with a large selection. Big rooms with good isolation. No charm so it’s not a couples spot. Friendly staff. Would stay for work again, probably not privately. It’s as expected. They got a gym.

This is my feedback to hotel. They replied that there will be an upgrade after the summer. I just want to identify some shortcomings we found in your hotel Room 358. I did fill in a card in the room but it disappeared so don’t know if it was handed into your office? We loved the location of your hotel also the breakfast was amazing and the staff lovely and friendly. However the Room I personally found it to be inferior considering it was supposed to be a Superior Room in a 4 star hotel in Norway. Please look at my opinion On entering there were black marks on the walls and the skirting board (on the wall at floor level) was away from the wall. There was no safe (when we brought this to attention we were offered another room however we had since unpacked and did not really want to redo this again. The Air Conditioning did not work and were were supplied with a fan (not exactly air conditioning) it was a nice gesture. It was very hot weather during our visit with the huge glass windows making it even hotter. The kettle in the room did not switch off just kept boiling and didn’t even look in a safe position on the shelf. Overall felt when we walked in that it was all very dated and needed some tender loving care, even the bed bases did not match colourwise. I just feel a wee bit let down by the Scandic Asker. Wardrobe supplied not conducive to relaxing holiday I just left my clothes in my case. Overall the hotel was badly in need of an extensive upgrade.

Terrible experience. I had two bookings and told them at check in I would like to keep my room between theese bookings, no problem. Coming home late at night I was locked out and they took all my stuff. They even threw away receipts for my travelexpenses. Next morning my clothes was in the hallway in a trashbag. Would not recommend. Rooms was also without heater, shower was broken and TV did not work. I got 1 night compensation.

Staying at this hotel every other week when at work. Super friendly staff. The hotel could need a update, but it is not critical. Have been staying her for a year now and will probably be for a couple more.

This is one of my favorite hotels since the personnel is great and friendly, they give me the support I always need. Restaurant food is well prepared and Breakfast food is always fresh and has several choices
