Great location for the ferry. Clean hotel and friendly staff. Nice bar/restaurant area. Small car park which was full when we arrived but next to a retail park, so plenty available a short walk away.

Ideal location, nice rooms, good breakfast choice and the bonus of a decent restaurant on site. Staff were brilliant, I had a problem with a noisy fan in my room which was speedily resolved by Allyx, the wonderful girl on reception, 11 out of 10. Well done to all the staff.

Clean accomodation which is suitalbe for a short-term stay or when crossing the Channel by ferry as the ferry terminal is less than 5mins by car or bicycle and 10mins on foot

Considering that the hotel is a place to spend the night and maybe eat, you get insane value for the money you spend. The staff has to be the nicest teams I have ever interacted with. The room was also really nice with only a minor problem with the bath room. Though nothing to actually be a reason for complaint.

Nice stay at the hotel which is based really close to the port and has some views of dover castle. Staff encountered were friendly and rooms were to an acceptable cleanliness standard. I cant beleive in the current age WiFi is not a free inclusion though Travelodge really needs to move ahead of the year 2000

For two days I had an issue with accessing my room because of a faulty door lock. The second day, the day before I was meant to leave I was locked out for over 12 hours without access to my belongings. I had a ferry at 3:30am with a 700 mile drive ahead of me. After being out for the day and having an issue with my door in the morning, I returned just before 6pm still being locked out of my room, the receptionist contacted someone from maintenance to fix my door, after waiting for a total of nearly 6 hours did someone come, at this point it was 11:50pm, I had to get to the ferry terminal at 2:30am! Because of this whole experience I didn't get any rest before my journey ahead.

I had a great experience at Travelodge Dover thanks to Allyx at reception. She checked me in quickly and with a warm, friendly attitude. It made a long day of travel so much easier. Thank you, Allyx!

Ideal location for Visiting the historic sites in and around Dover, Travelodge staff were all very welcoming , and they provided great service, many thanks to Allyx for coming to my aid, thanks for the bag of ice

The hotel is easy to find, located right near shops/takeaways. Dinner was nice, breakfast was an 8/9 out of 10. Our room ( 210 ) was very quiet & faced the car park
