EVEREST POINT

Lovely, quiet boutique hotel with grassland and mountain views situated in a ******* farming village. Rooms are modern, well appointed with all amenities. This duplex apartment was very spacious with a huge 1st floor. Top to bottom windows provide an amazing view and ensures the space is light and airy. The owner must be a seasoned traveller herself and has a good eye with the design and details. My daughter loved feeding the Llamas and deers and theses residents are very much part of the charm of this place. It's a shame we stayed during a rainy period, there was many more activities we would have done if it was dryer. Onsite food and beverage was local cuisine in style but good quality and delicious. Complimentary Yunnan red tea and Yunnan coffee. If only there were fresh pastries and cakes, that would have been perfect. Last but not least the staff were really warm and friendly and always happy to help and make respond to requests.

Beautiful view. The concierges were extremely helpful: 鲁茸克主 drove us around and even helped drop our luggage at the airport. 何莎莎, 意希江初 and 谢寒 were extremely nice to help us around the hotel: they helped us with our laundry, gave us access to a early check in, helped us book a horse riding tour, helped us booked another room and recommended places to go after YuBeng was not accessible, and answered all our questions. If I were to come to shangri la again I would definitely stay here. I would also recommend family and friends to stay here as well.

There was someone to pick us up from the city area upon request. We also followed his car to the city area as the receptionist mentioned it was hard to get a car from the area. Lovely atmosphere. The view at night (stars) was amazing and that alone was worth staying a night! Plenty of activities and we had a great breakfast too. Fed deers which was a great experience. Teh people working there once again is amazing.
