I stayed in the 8 person room, there was no view from the room itself but the hotel has a lovely deck with great views, it's situated right at the top of Upper Yubeng so perfect for the glacier lake walk.

Shanyu Hotel in Yubeng is really good value for money. This time, because the team members had something to do, I became a lone ranger. Because of the bad weather, I stayed in Yubeng for 4 days. I changed 2 hotels and it was hard to describe the feeling I had... Until I saw this hotel on the way to the ice lake on the last day, I immediately wanted to change hotels just from the location and the large French windows. When I went down the mountain, I went to the hotel to find out and immediately made a deal. There are very few free travelers staying in Shanyu Hotel, and most of them are small outdoor teams. The hotel lobby is very large and crowded. (The happiest thing about this Yubeng trip is that I met a lot of interesting friends in Shanyu. I have to thank a super cool leader named Bayi. He saw that I was bored sitting alone in the hotel lobby, so he invited me to play cards and games with his team members... Happy) (Shanyu B&B is very suitable for a person to play alone. The hotel is great, and you can get a free guide. Just follow the outdoor team in the hotel wherever you want to go... Must recommend...)

The hotel didn't have any smell, because the cows, horses, and mules in Yubeng Village walk around by themselves, and the ground is very dirty. You can smell the bad smell in many homestays, but this hotel doesn't have it. It's worth recommending. I stayed in a better hotel, and there were no other expenses. I lay on the bed and watched the sunrise on the Golden Mountain. It was amazing. 👍I recommend this hotel. The scenery on Yubeng is superb, and it is also convenient to climb the ice lake.

The hotel location is the closest hotel to Ice Lake. The relative area and facilities seem to be top-notch nearby. The room is a little cold, but the electric blanket is very useful.
