I stayed with my husband and a friend for two nights. We had a great experience. All the staff was extremely nice, while also making an extra effort for us to feel comfortable and communicate with us, which is not a given in other hotels in China as they usually don’t speak English. We are particularly thankful to Lina, Xiao Jing and Xiao Ming for the attentive care of us. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Location was perfect for visiting the Shaolin temple, only took a short taxi ride to get there. We had a chance to try the food during breakfast and dinner and it didn’t disappoint. Everything we had was delicious. We would come back, highly recommended.

I had fresh bowls of fruits delivered to me everyday, each time with a thoughtful handwritten note wishing me good blessings. It's a beautiful gesture! The room was nice and clean. However, the walls seemed thin and I could hear my neighbours. It did feel quite cold at night too. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was sufficient and powerful. I would have liked to have some English channels to watch on TV and more English speaking staff. Overall, I was satisfied and pleased with my pick. Thank you

Large room, nice furniture, very clean. Friendly staff service. Ate at restaurant on 2nd floor and had room service food too, staff from 2nd floor restaurant came to my room with an iPad menu to assist my food ordering, as i didn’t know how to use their online WeChat food menu. I’ve stayed here twice. Highly recommend. Unfortunately the gym is not open, no sauna, no swimming pool.

Smooth check in. Friendly staff and very clean. Also complimentary beverages after long day of sight seeing.

No English-speaking stuff at all. It not at 5-star hotel, it’s like flat with concierge service. No cafe or anything near the hotel. But I like the view)

Good location and rooms

This time I stayed in the Zen room in Building No. 3. The room is decorated in wood tones and modern Chinese style, with extensive use of wooden floors and rattan materials. I was immediately infected by the peaceful atmosphere as soon as I entered the door. There was a rattan couch in the room, where I sat and made a pot of tea. It was so relaxing. The room is very big, with plenty of space for activities, and the sheets and towels are very clean. It is really good value for money. I didn't expect that there would be a hotel of this standard in Dengfeng. The breakfast buffet is as grand as a Manchu-Han banquet, with a full range of dishes, both Eastern and Western. The service staff are also very polite and kind. Next time I go to Dengfeng, I will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it!

The layout of the hotel rooms is particularly Zen, worthy of being a Zen-style hotel. The bedding is very comfortable. The hotel scenery is particularly good. Through the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the lobby of the guest room building, you can see the beautiful scenery of Shaoshi Mountain. The breakfast is also delicious and varied. It is a particularly good choice for accommodation when visiting Dengfeng.

Entering the hotel lobby gives you a very high-end feeling, and the service staff are particularly enthusiastic and professional. The concierge was very attentive, enthusiastic and proactive. He patiently helped me deliver my luggage to the room and patiently introduced me to the time and location of the hotel breakfast and the nearby interesting scenic spots. It was a very good stay experience. I recommend everyone to visit Zhongzhou International Shaolin Hotel when visiting Dengfeng.
