I stayed three nights in a double room. I got information on the check-in procedure via WeChat, and it all went well. I took a few minutes to find the right building among the few buildings of the areas (the number of the building is painted on the wall, which I figured out after a bit), then it was all ok. The community might seem a bit run down, same for the building, but the inhabitants seemed really friendly actually, and the apartment, my room and the shared bathroom were clean, well furnished and nice. The room was spacious and bright. The duvet and pillows were covered with a sort of fake fabric that may feel strange to the touch, I think it is for hygiene; it was ok for me. The one thing that could be harder to adjust to if one is not used to it, is the hard bed. Quite hard, honestly. Anyway, I could sleep. I stayed only three nights, yet a cleaning lady asked if I wanted the room cleaned on the second day, which was very thoughtful of her. Great location, very central. Good connection with Datongnan, the railway station to the south: Gu Lou is the right bus stop. I would definitely stay here again, if I came back to Datong.

The building in which this is located is a bit scary at night. There aren't many lights, and the building itself is a bit rundown, but I'd you follow the directions given by the proprietor, you should be able to find it with little difficulty. The flat was nice, the room seemed clean and it was fairly spacious. The fact that the person in the other room (in a 2 bed flat, so I was essentially sharing the flat with them) was smoking in the flat bothered me a bit because the hotel states "non- smoking" room. But I just closed the door and the smoke smell didn't really enter my room. The proprietor was helpful when I needed to contact them, and the room is in a good location. I would stay here again.

good location, near most of the tourist attraction places. no reception personal at site. the location could be hard to find, ideal for budget traveller.

Location was amaizing- close to all mainstream atractions. House was renovated and well equipped. The host was very friendly and helpful. The only downside is cleanliness- The floor in bathroom was not clean, with a lot of hair from the previous guests. Also there was no fridge.

Le logement était très dur à trouver. Le propriétaire n’a pas envoyé les consignes dans les temps, pour pouvoir rentrer dans le logement. C'est moi qui ai du le contacter par un appel téléphonique grâce à l’aide d’une personne chinoise, car il ne parle pas anglais. Après 1H d’échange à 23H, très tard, on a réussi à obtenir les codes pour accéder à la chambre. Il n’y a pas eu d’aide, on a du batailler. La femme de ménage a voulu rentrer dans notre chambre le lendemain matin sans prévenir. Le lit est catastrophique, c’est une planche en bois très dur, il n'y a pas de matelas, juste un sur matelas, il n'y a pas non plus de draps, mais des housses en papiers jetable. Le seul point positif est l’emplacement : à coté supérette et restaurants corrects. La chambre est dans un logement avec 2 autres chambres.
