The stay at the Danzhou Seaview Baili Hotel was very pleasant. The check in was convenient and all staff very friendly. The room had a quite modern appearance , was decently equipped and was quite big. Sadly we didnt get a sea/ port sided room, otherwise the view would probably have also been great. The roomservice came every day between 8 and 9 for cleaning and reequipping the room. My only wish would be that when they knock the door twice, they actually wait a little longer for a response. They always entered very quickly and didnt give me enough time to even reach the door and open. The breakfast selection is probably the only thing that was a little disappointing. Not that many choices and only some minor changes every day. Especially the limited fruit selection is a bit sad, given the availability on Hainan. But for the pricepoint of the hotel I dont want to complain much. The food was alright and will definitely get you full. Around the hotel are many shops, restaurants and streetvendors that provide decent choices for dinner. Now to the big plus point, the free of charge clothes washing service (basic washing and drying). Quick and efficient, and you always have fresh clothes given the hot climate.
